The New Creature

2 Corinthians 5:17,18 “Therefore if any man [be] in Mashiyach, [he is] a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things [are] of Elohiym, who hath reconciled us to
himself by Yeshua ha Mashiyach, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”
A blessing to see someone become a new creature. This is a work of Elohiym. What we were when we
first came to Elohiym … we’re not what we used to be.
“How do you like the new ‘so-and-so’?” (They could see he was a new creature.)

Ephesians 4:22-24 “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new
man, which after Elohiym is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
Not being corrupt anymore. Putting the old person away – letting it be buried. Not accept anything short
of the new creature. (vs 24) Divine nature – as He is, so are we in this world. (“Herein is our love made
perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1
John 4:17) This is what avails. (“For in Mashiyach Yeshua neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor
uncircumcision, but a new creature.” Galatians 6:15)

We shouldn’t want to have anything to do with the old creature.

-Think the way Elohiym thinks, desire what He desires; not the way the world/the flesh thinks. After put off
a garment, possible to put it on again. We desire to be unspotted. – Many who profess Yeshua are not
putting away the old creature. – Vain religion. It is really possible to partake of the divine nature. Hunger
and thirst after righteousness, and partake of it. See the rest of Ephesians 4.

Ho-hum attitude toward religion: (That, too, is of the flesh.)
