Foundation Drawing have been prepared considering Schedule of Dimensions -2004. The snain features of the Drawings are:- Width of the Foundation top across the track is 600 mm i.e. ‘C’ dimension has been reduced from 800 mm to 600 mm for ‘Side Gravity’ and from 700 mm & 800 mm to 600 mm for ‘Side bearing’ type of foundatiun. For other type of Foundations viz. New Gravity type, Dry Ble=k Cotton Soil type, & Wet Black Cotton Soil type, the top widt!, of foundations has also been reduced to 692 mm. Minimum implantesion of O¥4E Structure ie. Setth ‘entre, is 2800 mni. foundation above Form: Top portion of Foundation below the Formation level is 50 mm (a) (b) There have been references from the various [.zilways as weil as Railway Electrification Project about the difficuitias faced at site for shuttering & casting the tep portion of the Foundation. The thickness he concret2 at the top portion of founciation is 40 mm and delow. Considering the wor'cability at field level all Foundation Drawings have usen reviewed. Based on tho conditions, fellowing may be adoptad at field level: In case sufficient Setting Distance is available at site . comply with the requirement of Schedule of Dimensions-2004, the Setting Distance of OHE Structure, wherever the formation width permits, may be adopted as 200 mm irom the center line of nearest track (instead of 2800 mm as advised earlier). While casting the “Side Bearing type” of Foundation, it shall be ensured that the distance between farther end of the face of foundation to the end cf embankment should not be less than 300 mm. If this dimension is less than 3C0 mm then other type of foundation, 25 per site condition, shail be cast with the epproval of Competent Puthority of Raikvay Electrification Project/
