Sharing
Each child will have the opportunity to be a
class sharer this year.
Sharing happens every day.
The student prepares their sharing at home.
Your child will have between 2 and 5 minutes
to share, with the whole class, a photo, a
story about a special event in his or her life
or a special item. Please do not send in
electronic items.

Friday Sport & RotaOons


This year on alternate Fridays the students will

participate in sports during periods 7 and 8


Students stay with the same sport for four Fridays

and then rotate to a different sport. The last session


is a points one where students can earn points for
their house!
Rotations are held on alternate Fridays. It is similar

to Studio Time in Year 2.

o Keep communication with the teacher brief. Use email carefully. More than 5
sentences may mean it is better to arrange a meeting.
o Please let me know via email if your child is taking a dierent form of
transportation home or if they are sick.
o The teacher is ALWAYS the first point of call.

Y3 Housekeeping
Please make sure your child eats breakfast each day.
Children need to bring a bottle of water and a healthy snack each day.
There is a long learning time between recess and lunch.
SMART cards issued in year 4.
Communication Bags: Students are responsible for showing me any
notes and handing in any forms each morning.
Pencils and stationery. Named and bought to school daily.
Library Every Thursday.
PE Tuesdays and Wednesdays / Sports alternate Fridays. Children
need to be in their PE uniforms and must have their hats and drink
bottles on their designated PE days.
Swimming May 2016.
