Barber Weekly Update

ACADEMIC CONNECTION:
Each week, each grade level awards students through Student of the Week. The awards are
given to students who exhibit one or more of The Warrior Way traits by being Prepared, Responsible, Respectful, Tolerant, and Polite. Students who earn the most gems by grade level are
awarded monthly.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Interested in the Running Club? The Running Club promotes endurance, strength, dedication and community. All fitness levels are encouraged to join. See Ms. Zifer for details.

Magnet School Parent Night is open to any parent who is interested in obtaining information regarding the various magnet programs with the Cobb County School District. This
program is ideal for the parents 6th and 7th grade students who want to be prepared for the
magnet application process.

For 8th Grade Performing Arts students that are planning on attending the Disney Trip
May 12-15, the $200 deposit and contract are due before September 4.

Remember students to get your PTSA membership in order to attend the Membership
Dance on September 15, 2015.
