c. Built the skeleton of my Project Management Site using
Weebly. Chose Weebly because Ive never used it before
and it facilitates direct file uploads much easier.

concerns you encountered, the actions you took to deal with

a. Insufficient or inapplicable knowledge or skills
i. As I stated in my last 15/5, Ive never designed a course using
Blackboard (Desire2Learn) and/or placed items in D2L. I spent
some time this week working on the professor side of D2L and
gained some useful insight regarding how this can work.
b. Related prior experience
i. Ive taught an equivalent to this course before at another
institution, I taught college for two years, and high school for four. I
also have experience working with the Client/SME in the
classroom before.
c. Feelings, Attitudes, and goals, criteria, and constraints of the project
i. My biggest fear is letting the scope of the project get too big to be
manageable. A close second is the uncertainty regarding the
future of the FYE program. It appears as though the FYE program
is tied to the institutional QEP, so theres a good chance that it will
not only continue, but be integral to the success of our institution.

4 Other thoughts about your project or any help you need (if any)?
a. Should I attempt to design a course within a course, i.e. a
number of different resources (some already created and
some that will be) to support the entire library component
of FYE? I like this idea best and this is what my Client/SME
is pushing for.
