MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear Sir/Madam,

I write this letter in order to apply as a International Buddy of AIESEC project. Im one
of the student in chemical engineering major. In this major, we are asked to be someone
who is able to communicate well with people in industrial . As I know, industrial worker
is not only from our own country, but also another country such as Germany, England and
Australia. So that it force me to be able build a good communication for my client during
working. One of the way to get that skill, I choose this program so that my
communication rising. I have 2 main reason why I apply as a international buddy, namely
having a good foreign friend and introducing a unique culture of Palembang.
Firstly, having a good foreign friend is so interesting. When I was ten, I have a neighbor
from united state. It is unfortunate I cant communicate to them because of my limited
English by that time. However, I still try to chat with her using body language. It was the
first time I feel that playing with a friend as so hard. Day by day, I feel comfortable with
that kind of non-mainstream friendship. Therefore, I believe that by joining this project I
will feel the same feeling of having friendship with foreign and have extension
knowledge also from intern.
Beside that, I want to share my knowledge about my own hometown. I realize that I have
a minimum information about this town. Therefore I need a force to get a will about
looking for related information. Then, I know, being the international buddy for the
foreign can force me to know more about that. In my opinion, it is the best way to make
me study more how to introduce the unique of my own country.
As to my personality, I am very sociable- I love meeting with the new people and also
getting to know new culture. Im also fond of learning language even still having a lot of
limitation.
Finally, being the international buddy is the best way for me to learn something new, to
force me to know more about my own town, to build an awesome friendship with the
intern and many more. All in all, I believe that applying as a intern buddy get me a good
communication skill, especially with the foreign people, as my quality of personality.
