Use a globe revolving around a
light to visualize how the tilt of
the
earth
causes
changing
seasons in one hemisphere, and
the opposite season in the other
hemisphere.

Southern Hemisphere

The Earths axis has a 23.5 degree tilt.


Get a paper circle and fold it in half four
times (to make 1/16 slices.) Each slice
is 22.5 degrees. Compare that to the
23.5 degree tilt of the Earth.
