Fuel Cells

The primary purpose of this course is to assist the student in developing an introductory
understanding of the basic principles of fuel cells and mastering sound problem-solving
techniques. The course is designed to be practical and focus on numerous applications in
the fields of power production. On the other hand, fundamental concepts of engineering
will be emphasized to build up students abilities in analyzing complex energy systems.
Students who successfully completed this course are supposed to gain a clear
understanding in fuel cell. Students are encouraged to refresh fundamental course in
thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
