VIIb grade

Introduction
Some people are crazy about travelling. They never sit still and they are
eager to find out new things and places all around the world. One of those
people is my friend Igor. In the past 3 years he travelled in more than 20
countries, but he has never been to Britain. So lets help him and find out
some helpful information about the food and drinks served there.

Task
Explore the British traditional food and drinks including the British meals,
famous British pubs, traditional teatime and some other things that can be
useful for my friend. I know that hell be grateful for this!

Process
Youll be divided in three groups and at the end youll present your final
product (presentation) in front of the class. Each group should make a plan
and organize the process of gathering information and photos needed for the
presentation.
Your presentation should include information about the following:
British meals
British traditional food (including some recipes)
British teatime
British pubs
any other things that you find interesting

Evaluation
Your work will be evaluated in the following ways:
1. Each of you will evaluate your groups work according to the given
criteria
2. Your group will evaluate the other groups presentations according to
the given criteria

Conclusion
This web quest will help you learn some things about the British culture
and tradition. The best part is that youll learn those things by yourselves,
i.e. through your own research. And who knows, maybe some day well visit
this country together and well use the information that youll get!
