Facts: Reckless Imprudence resulting to Homicide

1) In the evening of 15 May 2015, around 10pm, Marivic La Consolacion DP. Paez, 27
years of age, Clinical Instructor at Centro Escolar University, was in a bus stop along
Mendiola, corner Recto Avenue.
2) She was waiting for her bus going to Taytay, Rizal.
3) After a few minutes, her bus was approaching, so she waived her hand to get the
attention of the bus conductor. The conductor waived his hand back.
4) As the bus approach, the conductor stepped down the stairs of the bus, counting
his ticket booklet. The door opened so Marivic walked towards the bus.
5) As the bus turns from Recto, a sudden sound of explosion was heard coming from
the rear right tire of the bus. The bus then glided towards the gutter until it fully
stopped.
6) A sudden shout for help was heard beside the bus. Marivic was found lying down
beside the bus with her head bleeding.
7) She was rushed to Manila Doctors Hospital. However, the paramedic declared her
dead on the way to the said hospital.
