Living the Dream:

A Guide To The Mental Universe and Self discovery

Written by: Alan Carnagey

A single seed contains an entire forest.

Be careful what you plant, for it will soon surround you.
Plant seeds of peace and joy, and you will soon find yourself surrounded by a forest of love and bliss.
Plant seeds of violence and anger, and you will soon find yourself surrounded by a forest hate and pain.
You reap what you sow.
Those who do not ask the questions are incapable of finding the answers.
Those who do not look for wisdom are incapable of seeing truth.
When the blind are lead by the blind, we all march off the cliff.
Only you can find your truth, only you can walk your path.

Where are our memories stored? It seems like a simple question, with an obvious and
clearly definable answer. Almost immediately our mind is certain that our memories must be
contained within our brains. But, evidence supports the theory that memories are not stored in
the brain, that the brain acts more like an antenna and decoder, than a memory storage device.
Biologist, author, and investigator Dr. Rupert Sheldrake has stated The recovery of
memory is very difficult to explain in terms of conventional theories: if the memories have been
destroyed because the memory tissue has been destroyed, they ought not to come back again; yet
they often do, referring to the fact that even when the brain is physical damaged, where it is
believed a particular memory is stored, the person can recover the memory when the tissue heals.
This would be inexplicable if memories are stored within the brain; but if the brain acts more like
an antenna receiving memories, and perhaps consciousness itself, then a recovered memory
would be easily explained by fixed antenna, or receiver.
Dr. Sheldrake also explains an experiment in memories, and gives his analysis of how the
data has been misinterpreted; when certain areas of the brain are electrically stimulated the
patient will recall memories with vivid detail. The conventional theory infers that the memories
are recalled because the brain is stimulated where they are stored, but it could just as easily be
explained by stimulating the part of the antenna that picks up the signal, or memory. The brain
could be likened to a radio, with the memories being represented by the radio signals air waves,
stimulating one part of the brain is equivalent to tuning the radio to a certain station. The radio
does not store the signal within its box of wires and circuits, all that complicated circuitry is there
to receive the signal pervading all around us.
The radio is just an antenna to interpret the incoming data, or memories, and present them
to the observing consciousness. If I stimulated the tuning circuit of your TV set and it
jumped onto another channel, this wouldnt prove the information was stored inside the tuning
circuit, writes Dr. Sheldrake.
While most scientists chase after proof that memories are stored within the brain, they
often find evidence that supports the theory of externally stored memories. Researcher Karl
Lashley created what many might consider a cruel experiment; however the findings were
monumental to the idea that memories are not stored within the brain. Lashley demonstrated that
half of a rats brain could be removed, yet the rat would still be able to perform every trick he was
taught. While this is shocking in itself, his test went on to show that regardless of which side was
removed, left or right, the rats were still able to perform all the tricks they had been taught.
The idea that memories might be stored outside of the brain may seem unsettling when
first considered, however the continual march of science is providing more and more evidence,

that what we thought about memories and where they are stored, might be completely wrong.
And if it is true that the brain is not meant for storage, but is in fact an antenna, is it just limited
to memories? Is consciousness the result of a chemical reaction in the brain? Or is the brain an
antenna that allows our consciousness, and memories to interact with our bodies, and our
physical senses?
What science calls consciousness, religions call the soul; it is the awareness behind all
living beings. If you connect a lie detector test to a plant, you can see that not only will it respond
to physical stress like being hit, or being burned, they also respond to the thoughts of you
burning or hitting the plant. They also show concern for other living things by getting upset
when you hurt an animal in their vicinity(fruit flies were used in the original experiments.) this
proves that plant are not only alive and conscious, they are also telepathically reading our
thoughts. This phenomenon, initially discovered by Cleve Backster, is known as primary
perception.
Consciousness is not your thoughts or your feelings, it is the part of you that observes
your thoughts and is aware of your feelings. It is not contained within your body as most of us
would believe; rather your body, and all that you are sensing, thinking, and feelings, are
contained within consciousness.
A key truth often overlooked by those seeking spirituality, is that every truth is only half
true. Every truth has its absolute truth and its relative truth, but there is a difference between
absolute truth and relative truth and they usually contradict each-other. The key to
understanding the great teachers and spiritual leaders of the past is being able to discern when
they are speaking from an absolute perspective or a relative perspective. The relative truth about
the nature of reality, the truth we are experiencing and are familiar with, is that the universe is
very real and physical place which we can relate to; and this is a true statement.
But the absolute truth, experienced by what some would call God, is that the universe
is a mental construction existing only within the realms of consciousness; and this is also a true
statement, despite their contradiction. Many people get lost in half truths, by not understanding
the difference between absolute and relative truth. But by finding the middle path and being
aware of both the absolute and relative, it is possible to gain a greater understanding of all the
worlds spiritual texts.
What if we are the imagination of ourselves, living out a dream within our mind,
forgetting we are the dreamer? The idea that there is something; seems equally as illogical as
there being nothing. For how could something ever arise from nothing? For there to be
something, it would seem there would have to be a period before something arose when nothing
existed. The question of where is nothing, is as equally perplexing as where is something? Where
is this universe contained? What is on the outside of our "something? The obvious answer
would appear to be "no Thing" but how could it be true that inside of nothing, is everything?

The only logical conclusion is that everything is contained within nothing, and nothing is
contained within everything. Its quite a mind puzzler. We are everything and we are nothing, we
are everywhere and we are nowhere, we are everyone and we are no one, we are eternal and we
are nonexistent, we are creators and we are creations.
"So if you really go the whole way and see how you feel at the prospect of
vanishing forever. Have all your efforts, and all your achievements, and all your
attainments turning into dust and nothingness. What is the feeling? What
happens to you? That's what it's all going to come to. And for some reason or
other, we are supposed to find this depressing. Do you see in a way, how that is
saying: the most real state is the state of nothing? But if somebody is going to
argue that the basic reality is nothingness. Where does all this come from?
Obviously from nothingness. Once again you get how it looks behind your eyes.
You see? So in this way, by seeing that nothingness is the fundamental reality,
and you see it's your reality. Then how can anything contaminate you? All the
idea of you being scared, and put out and worried, and so on, this is nothing, it's
a dream. Because you're really nothing. But this is most incredible nothing. So
cheer up! You see? The essence of your mind is intrinsically pure. Pure means
clear, void. See? If you think of this idea of nothingness as mere blankness, and
you hold onto this idea of blankness then kind of grizzly about it, you haven't
understood it. Nothingness is really like the nothingness of space, which contains
the whole universe. All the sun and the stars and the mountains, and rivers, and
the good men and bad men, and the animals, and insects, and the whole bit. All
are contained in void. So out of this void comes everything and You Are IT. What
else could You BE?" ~Alan Watts
My favorite analogy is Romeo and Juliet; while all the characters in the play are their
own separate entities they are all contained and created within the mind of Shakespeare. You are
not "God", but "God" is you. Romeo is not Shakespeare; Shakespeare is Romeo, Juliet, and all
the other characters in his play.
Your consciousness is the same that created the universe, we are all one, but have chosen
to forget, so we could learn more about ourselves from a fresh perspective. Just as Romeo and
Juliet are really just the mind of Shakespeare, we are the mind of "The All", this does not mean
you are "God" it means "God" is you. Shakespeare is Romeo and Juliet, and all the characters in
all his plays, but that does not make Romeo Shakespeare, it makes him a part of Shakespeare.
The physical world is a mental construct contained within our consciousness, our souls.
Others may interact within the universe or your own mind, but in reality they exist inside their
own mental construction of existence. You create their body within your own consciousness
(soul) but allow them access to control a fragment remotely from their own mental construction
in which they have created your body and allowed you remote access. Within your own

consciousness(soul) you are all that you create, your mind, your body, the walls, the table, the
ground, the air, your family and friends, your pets, the clouds, the earth and the stars, are all you.
You have created them and they are a part of you, but you have given other
consciousnesses, other souls, access to control the various avatars and characters within your
mental construction. You also have control over your avatar inside their mental construction,
contained within their consciousness, within their soul; where they are all that they see, taste,
touch, feel, and hear, granting you access to your avatar of their own creation.
When 3 people are in a room looking at an object, many would assume they exist in one
universe in one room with 3 people and one object. But the reality is that each person creates
their own universe, their own room, their own people and their own object. The truth is there are
3 universes, 3 rooms, 9 human bodies, 3 objects, and 3 separate consciousnesses. You have
created all that you see in your mind, you are the bodies in which you see. The people you see
have created their own universe, and in that universe, your body, is their mind.
The physical universe is no more real than your dreams, the difference between the two is
that the "physical universe" was created by the infinite awareness we call "God". Having created
the universe we then forgot our true nature as the awareness that is all awareness to explore the
universe of our own mind, the infinite mind that is "God" interacting with different parts of our
self, debating whether or not the part of us that created everything is real or not. It is a lot like the
atoms in your bodies debating whether or not you exist.
All the land, all the plants, all the animals, all the people, and the earth itself are cocreating this existence we perceive to be reality, but in truth there is nothing "REAL" about
reality. The entire universe is the mental creation (similar to a dream) of "The All". Experiencing
life through the individualization of itself into separate yet united points of consciousness,
willingly forgetting its true nature, believing it is this "body" surrounding us. This is an exercise
of the mind of "The All", forgetting that it is the creator of everything he or she sees, feels, or
experiences. Interacting with itself in an attempt to tests its consciousness of its own true nature
and immortality; constantly showing it that everything happens in seasons, that cycles that can be
seen throughout all nature.
Separation is an illusion, I am you viewing the world from my perspective, and you are me
viewing the world from your perspective. When you talk face to face with someone, you create
their body in your mind (consciousness) and they create your body in their mind (consciousness).
Everything you see, touch, or sense in any way exists only in mental form; there is no physical
world, only the mental projection. How could something as immaterial as consciousness, ever
arise from something as unconscious as matter?

"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe', a part limited in time
and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something
separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This
delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to
affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from
this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures
and the whole of nature in its beauty."
-Albert Einstein

The problem with trying to describe God, Goddess, Allah, Yahweh, The Tao, The all or
whichever term you wish to use to describe the force containing and animating the universe we
inhabit; is that it exists beyond words and concepts. It could be compared to describing a hole in
a wooden fence, without mentioning the wood itself; it only exists in relation to the board,
without the board there is no hole. It is only when the board, (the universe) is introduced does the
concept of the hole (God) arise. God always existed as an infinite singularity, but it can only be
conceptualized when compared with the universe. The real twist comes when you realize that
the hole is not inside the board, the board is within the hole. God is not a deity existing separate
from creation; rather creation exists and can only exist within God. Words will always fall short
in defining what God is, because the moment you create a concept you create division, and there
can be no division in the infinite singularity.
We can only explain God in relation to things we know, thus any religious texts is just a
snapshot, a single angle viewing what is beyond our sight, hearing what is beyond our ears,
feeling what is beyond our touch.

We are all describing the same "statue" from different angles, nobody has the full picture; it
doesn't mean they are wrong, but it doesn't make them right either. The path to God is not in
texts, it is within you. Religious texts are simply a guide book; the path you must walk is a path
that leads deep within yourself, where you will find God has always been with you, even when
you don't think God exists...
Its time we stop fighting over the words of men, because all religious texts were man written,
trying to explain something beyond human comprehension. No words can ever explain the
thoughts or mind of God, because God exists beyond words, thought and mind.

You will never be punished for not understanding what is beyond our comprehension, it is not
about heaven or hell, it is about the eternal journey, the spiritual evolution, the growth we must
all go through, and the path we all take.
God does not Punish, God teaches, using universal laws we all know yet never seem to apply.
EVERY ACTION HAS A REACTION, some call this a law of physics, and others call it the law
of Karma. They are both right. Always be kind to casual acquaintances, you never know what
role they will play in your future.
Every religion is attempting to explain the same creator that has constructed this "reality"
the problem is men cannot fully understand the true nature of "The All" so they only see part of
the picture, and assume everyone else is wrong but them.... too much focus is put on the
differences between religions, they are all talking about the same thing, describing the same
"Creator" from different angles...none are completely right, but none are completely wrong. They
are just different puzzle pieces of the same picture. The truth is always true, it does not matter
who said it.

God speaks every language and every dialect, to every person in every culture. God uses
men and women from around the world and all throughout history to teach us more about both
our own true nature and the nature of existence. Differences between cultures have caused many
different descriptions in the religious texts of humanity. Religious and spiritual texts should not
be viewed as competing doctrines vying for your devotion, but as guides to help you walk the
path only you can walk. Our personifications of "God" may differ, but they are all, in truth,
describing the same God.
God is not concerned with what book you read that helped you to know him; God does
not care what name you give him, or what religion you claim as your own. You are not punished
for not knowing God, and there is no devil after your soul. What believe in God brings, is not
salvation; it is understanding and wisdom. It does not matter how you come to know God, only
that you know God. But the salvation or damnation of your soul is not dependent on believe in
God, because your soul was never at stake. All religions and sciences are different puzzle pieces
of the same puzzle. What is gained from believe in God is a greater understanding of yourself,
the world, and the universe. You will not be punished for not believing in God, there is no hell
(besides the hell your mind creates) but there is reward in believing....the reward is not "heaven",
the reward is wisdom, understanding, peace, and love.
"God" is not some separate personification, some old man in the clouds watching and
judging you, waiting to decide if you will go to heaven or hell based on your limited

understanding of the true nature of "God". How can any human with our finite perspectives, ever
get a full view of the limitless nature of "God".
"God" exists outside of space and time, it is the energy that holds the universe together, it
is what keeps the laws of physics the way they are, and it is the awareness from which all
awareness arises. It is not a he nor is it a she, but it is you and it is me. "God" is the infinite void,
it is everything, and is nothing. Nothing can be added to infinity, and nothing can be taken away,
it cannot be divided, and it cannot be multiplied. How then could the universe be created? How
can "God" construct something without any materials to use to build? The same process we
humans use to create without adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing, without using outside
materials. We were created and our contained within the mind of "God", we are the
"imagination" of the infinite awareness that we call "God".
"God" in the most simplistic definition, is awareness. Not thoughts and ideas, but the pure
awareness lying within everything, the part of you that watches the thoughts in your head. It is
the part of me that is a part of you, the part of us that is a part of everything.
In the search for "God", if you are looking for an old man with a Grey beard on a throne
in the clouds, you will not find him, because it does not exist. However, if you are looking for
evidence that there is a creator, you will find countless evidence, just keep in mind that "God"
does not build out of wood or stone, all his creations, are thoughts within "Gods" mind. Nothing
can be outside of "God", "God" is within everything, and everything is within "God"
If God is everything and everywhere, how can anything be outside of God? The universe
is contained within the mind of God, that does not mean that it is not real or that you should
change your life in any way, its just an understanding of how everything can arise from nothing.
I am not saying that the individual is false, what I am saying is that the essence that drives you
comes from the same essence that drives me, and it is the same essence that drives everybody.
An individual is a collection of individuals.
What happened before the big bang? If an object at rest remains at rest, unless acted on
by on outside force, what force caused the big bang? There has to be an initial action to cause the
RE-action we call "the big bang". With this in mind it seems almost inevitable that you will
come to the conclusion that something (sometimes referred to as "God") gave a push that caused
the big bang. God and the big bang are not two opposing views; the big bang describes the how
of the universes creation, but it does not answer why it happened, or what caused it to happen.
Before the beginning there was only absolute consciousness, and from that
consciousness, the laws of space and time arose. At some given moment consciousness decided
to begin creating. But how can something create if nothing can be added to it, nor taken from it,
and it cannot be divided, nor multiplied. There is only one way for consciousness to create
without outside materials, and that is mentally, with their mind, their imagination.

So from the Imagination of the absolute conciseness, arose the entire universe, inhabited
by the characters of its dreams. In order to learn more about itself, it chose to animate each
individuated point of consciousness, while simultaneously forgetting it was the creator of the
entire universe. Much like we do in our own dreams (as above, so below)
Everything that has, is, will or might possibly happen; all occurred in a single moment of
time. A moment that rose and fell in an eternal instant, the moment of now there is nothing
before this moment and nothing after this moment, because the laws of space and time arise and
fall in this single moment of now. Every moment of time, every possible outcome, every
action and reaction is seen from the highest perspective in a single moment; Stationary, static,
still, a book with a story that nobody reading. An infinite void of frame upon frame, every
moment in time, and every alternate reality, exists in the singularity of now. A story cannot be
read until it is written, and our story must know every possible reaction to every possible action
we could possibly take in order for it to flow through the illusion of time.
Every time you went left you also went right, every time you said yes you also said no,
every choice you have or ever will make, has its own branch of time flowing from the tree of the
eternal moment that is now. In our story of time, existing in the single moment that is now, the
story begins in a single universe on a single branch of time in the moment of now as the single
universe progressed it arrived at its first choices, instead of taking one path the story takes both,
two universes now exist on two different branches of time stemming from the single branch of
time when time began, both existing in the moment of now.
You can change the perspective you will experience in the future, but the choices and
outcomes already exist, we are simply experiencing them in the "now". It is like a choose-yourown-adventure book, all the outcomes are predestined and written, but the readers experience is
altered in the decisions made as they read the story. Anything that can happen does happen. We
just experience a sliver of the full spectrum, free-will and destiny exist simultaneously, it just
depends on how closely youre looking at it, if youre looking from the highest perspective it
was all destined to happen, but from our earthly perspective we can alter the path our
consciousness can take. We use our free will to choose from the infinite possibilities of
predestined realities.
Anger is the anchor keeping you in the harbor of sorrow and despair, forgiveness is the
winds that carry you into the sea of peace and bliss. Learn to go beyond forgiveness; learn to be
thankful for the experiences and the lessons learned. Without these experiences you would not be
who you are today. Don't forgive and forget, instead you should forgive and be thankful, learn
what lessons your experiences can teach, because you cannot and will not learn them any other
way. Every moment is an opportunity to discover something new about yourself, don't let them
pass you by. Fools focus on what they lost, Wise men focus on what they learned. You cannot
change the things that happen to you, but you can change how it makes you feel, only then will
you find the peace that has always been within you.

The world cannot tell you who you are, only you can know who you are, be the kind of
person you wish others would be. Maybe there is a reason life seems so difficult, Pressure turns
coal into diamonds. Maybe there is a reason for the storms, without the rain there is no rainbow.
Struggling is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Everything happens exactly how it is supposed
to, exactly when it is supposed to. So stop worrying, stop swimming upstream, just ride the flow
of the river we call life. You will find it much more satisfying.
If you are focusing on some sort of "flaw" in whom you are, take a moment and
remember that the only thing wrong with you, is your perspective. You are no better than the
worst of them, and no worse than the best of them. We are all one, sharing both our greatest
triumphs and our biggest failures. We are exactly who and where we need to be to help us all
grow. Believe tomorrow will be better and it will be, believe it will be worse and it will be, the
choice is yours. When you think it is impossible, it becomes impossible. When you think its
achievable, it becomes achievable. Whether you think that you can, or you think that you can't,
you are right. Fear nothing, for you are not your body, and no true harm can ever come to you.
The world is the product of our own imagination. When you desire nothing, you will realize you
have and know everything. Desire is the result of you looking to the outside, for the things that
can only be found within, the things we always had but forgot were with us.
When it seems like your burden is far too large or too heavy to carry, always
remember....
Pressure turns coal into diamonds,
there is a rainbow after the heaviest rains,
it takes a cocoon to turn a caterpillar into a butterfly,
Beautiful flowers grow out of the dirt,
Forest fires germinate seeds and create new life,
the universe started with an explosion,
and you are the result of all that has happened to you.
Sometimes life has to be a little rough, to polish and shape us into our purest form. So
embrace the pressure, embrace the flames. Let them shape you; let them mold you, into
something new and beautiful. Let the impurities melt away, and you will be left with only the
purest, most beautiful parts of yourself. The largest burdens are placed on those who are most
capable of carrying them.
There is nothing more beautiful or inspiring than a person who realizes their own
potential, who rises above the path society has laid out for them. The person who does not need a
reason to share their love and Beauty with the world, and freely give their all against a wall of
deafening cry's of conformity from there on looking peers too afraid to shake the boat and cause
waves of their own.

The lone voice of protest against tyrannical oppression, the painter with a message no
words could explain, the musician playing simply for the love of music.
Like a determined seed, these people rise through the mud and dirt of our daily life's and
are transformed into a beautiful flower that shares it's beauty with the world, and providing
nectar for the bees. Not because they wish for the bees to come to them or the awe-inspired
onlooker to adore them, but simply because they are a flower that has broken free from their
seed, and embraced who they are with all their heart.
You do not need a reason to show someone you love and care for them, or to give your
gift that only you can give. Embrace your beauty, embrace your love, and inspire the world with
the message that is unique to your perspective.
Do not give in to others ideals of how your life should be. Rise above the mediocrity and
monotony of the worker bee. You are the perfect creation of a flawless design here to show us
all, the things that you alone can see. Do not let yourself be boxed into whatever role the world
tries to place you in. Be the person you think the world needs most; fill the hole that only you
can fill. Be the lighthouse on top of the hill that guides us all through this perilous journey we
call reality. Look within yourself and listen for the call, you have a unique gift, a one of a kind
perspective, you have seen the world the way only you can see, and learned the lessons only you
could learn. The question is what is it you think the world needs most? Once you know the
answer to this question you will have found the reason for your existence. Stand up, speak out,
have no doubts in your actions, for no one could fill your absolutely critical role in the universe,
better than you can. You were the only candidate to fill the position of you, and the world would
not be what it is or will be without you. You will meet untold resistance, you may be ridiculed,
mocked or even shunned, but do not be dismayed when all has been said and done, when then
has become now, all will see and all will know the gift you shared with the world and the
beautiful necessity of you being exactly who you are. Without you, we would not be us, you are
the part of us all that sees the world the way only you can see, through your experiences and
growth, we all experience and grow. From the part of me that is a part of you, thank you for all
you have endured and suffered through, may we both grow in reflection of your unique
perspective.
There are many paths to the top of the mountain, some of them will twist and turn going
both up and downhill with lots of views along the way. Some will lazily circle the mountain
slowly going higher and higher but taking quite some time to reach the top. Some of them are
full of danger and people saying "go back, this is not the way". Then there are those who will
take the most direct route regardless of how much of a struggle it will be, climbing up sheer
cliffs, and sharp rocks with the single goal of reaching the top. But the end result is always the
same, and we will all be reunited, as we gather together, on top of the mountain.

Never compare yourself to the successes or failures of others. You are on your own path
with your own obstacles, your own trials and your own opportunities. If your circumstances
would have been an exact copy of theirs, you would have the same result. You are on your own
path and cannot compare it to any others path, for had they been in your shoes (their primal
essence, their soul, their consciousness, whatever you wish to call it) would have walked the
same path as you.
Don't be so quick to judge others, the only person you have the right to be critical of, is
yourself. There are none without flaws; only through forgiveness and true empathy can we find
peace within our self. Unless you have absolute perspective of a life, you are in no position to
place judgment on its choices. Embrace true empathy and realize that we are all subject to
Newtons third law of motion, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Sometimes life
swings us in a direction that we don't understand or we view as negative, but the reaction to this
swing leads us to new levels of understanding. Beautiful flowers grow from the dirt, there is only
a rainbow after a storm, pressure turns coal into diamonds, and it takes a cocoon to turn a
caterpillar into a butterfly. Even when it all burns down, the phoenix always rises from the ashes,
stronger and wiser than before. The largest burdens are placed on those most capable of carrying
them.
"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like
and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree;
extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled."-The Kybalion.

Don't be upset with the polarity of live, there are lessons to be learned from both your
positive and your negative experiences. The only real tragedy would be if you didn't learn
anything. A tree is not angry when a bird lands on one of its limbs, nor is it mad when it fly's
away. Be like the tree, accept what comes into your life, and do not be saddened when it drifts
back out.
I can see neither black nor white, in a world that is grey.
I can see neither light nor darkness, in a world full of shadows.
All I see is two ends of one spectrum.
The world is not divided into "good guys" and "bad guys".
The "good" man does "evil" acts, just as the "evil" man does "good" acts.
There is a hint of shadow even in the brightest light, and there is a hint of light in
even the darkest shadow.
Do not be so quick to condemn the shadow, and fail to see the light that casts it.
Life is not black or white, just different shades of grey. There is always some light even
on the darkest night. There are always shadows, even on the brightest day. The world is a far
darker and simultaneously much brighter place, than you could possibly imagine.

If there is any hatred in your life, for anybody, you have yet to discover the meaning of
true love. Anger is one thing that will quickly rise to the surface, but if you let it involve into
hatred, you are doing so at an extreme cost to yourself. Your hatred is a fire that only you can
feel; only you can put it out, and only you can be burned by it. Let go of hate, embrace love, for
all of existence. Anger is the anchor keeping you in the harbor of sorrow and despair.
Forgiveness is more for your sake, than it is for theirs; forgiveness is the winds that carry you
into the sea of peace and bliss. "Revenge" is like a hurricane that destroys everything in its path,
including yourself.

-Cherokee Parable- "One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a
battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two
wolves inside us all" "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil
- he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is
good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on
inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it
for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old
Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed".' -Cherokee ParableThe wise man will listen to a fool, without being offended, and seriously consider the
possibility that they might have been wrong; but the fool will try his best to ignore a wise man,
and if they do hear the wise man, they are usually offended that someone might see things from a
different perspective. The fool hears others, and says "you are a fool, how can you believe this."
The wise man hears others, and says "thank you for your point of view; I had not thought to look
from that perspective." The world may show you the questions, but only you can find the
answers.
Let love push all the hate from your mind. Embrace all forms of love. Love your family,
love your friends, love your spouse, love the animals, love the plants, love the earth, love the
universe, love your existence, love your life, but most importantly, LOVE.
Learn to go beyond forgiveness; learn to be thankful for the experiences and the lessons
learned. Without these experiences you would not be who you are today. Don't forgive and
forget, instead you should forgive and be thankful, learn what lessons your experiences can
teach, because you cannot and will not learn them any other way. Every moment is an
opportunity to discover something new about yourself, don't let them pass by.
When you see how beautifully perfect the universe is, you will see how beautifully
perfect you are.

There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many
years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came
to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "May be," the farmer replied.
The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses.
"How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "May be," replied the old man.
The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown,
and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his
misfortune. "May be," answered the farmer.
The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the
army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors
congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "May be," said the
farmer.
Things are not always what they seem; we only have a limited perspective on
reality. We must try to expand our awareness, to see the full picture.

Make peace with the demons of your own creation in this life, or endure the
repercussions of your actions in the next, the choice is yours. Death does not release you from
the reactions of your actions; we all have to resolve our karma. Only you can make amends, only
you can right the ship, only you can turn the page, only you can save you from yourself. You
hold the key to all the mysteries of the entire universe; you simply need to unlock the door, open
your mind, and take a journey within. At the center of your being you have the answer; you
know who you are and you know what you want. -Lao Tzu
You are the light of the world, sent here for all to see, to help guide others on their path.
But what use is a lighthouse if the light does not shine? make your light as bright as possible,
helping to guide others through the perils of their life, just as you have counted on the light from
others, to guide you through the perils of yours. You are the light of this world, keep on shinning,
your light is your love; your love is your light. Shine your love for all to see.
Be the one you're meant to be,
shine your light for all to see.
Walk the path that sets you free,
be the one the planet needs.
Embrace your love, embrace your light.
Be the torch that's burning bright,
Be the flame that lights the night.

Embrace your strengths, and feel your might.

Live the life you love to live.
Give with all your heart can give.
Let go of pain your mind relives.
To be at one, you must forgive.
The more enlightened you become the bigger the burdens that are placed on you.
Sometimes the external pressure seems overwhelming and unbearable, but it is all designed to
strengthen and help us grow to our full potential. While there is a lot of good information out
there to help you along the way, they are merely guides; ultimately it is up to you to find the
truth that has always been within you. You must be your own student, and your own teacher.
One of the biggest leaps of understanding is that the physical universe is a mental
construction, existing only within the realms of consciousness. There is no "out there" out there.
All that we see, taste, touch, hear, and smell are creations of our own minds. If we were to meet
and talk face to face, you would create my body within your mind, and I would create your body
in my mind. We exist in our own bubbles of reality, in two completely separate realities, where
we are all that we create; it is only our consciousness that stretches out to reach into the universe
of another being. This can be a confusing concept, but all that is "out there" is in you. You are
not a mind within the universe; you are a universe within a mind. Consciousness is all that we
are; there is nothing material about the universe, reality is no more physical then the dreams of
our creation.
We are the characters in the dreams of "God and in time and with growth we will
become the dreamer of our own universe, inhabited by the characters of our own dreams.
Simultaneously creating and observing, viewing the world of our creation through the eyes of all
the characters of our dream, while forgetting that we are the creator of all that we see. It is an
endless cycle, the dreamer creates characters in their dream that in turn create characters in their
dreams who in turn create characters in their dreams, and on and on and on it goes for eternity.
But at the core of all the characters is the initial dreamer, the force that set time into motion,
constantly growing, constantly learning, and viewing its creation from infinite perspectives.
There is nothing that happens without its reason, and all that happens to us has its reason,
and it is always to help us grow. An individual is a collection of individuals, what we have called
"God" is the collection of all individuals. Separation is an illusion I am you viewing the world
through my eyes, and you are me viewing the world through your eyes. United as one we explore
this mental construction we call reality. Its a never ending rabbit hole of universal mysteries and
wonders.
Never take anything that is said to be true, if it does not resonate with you, do not
incorporate it into your truth, regardless of who said it.

The law of attraction is a powerful force often talked about in New Age circles, but
there is a lot of bad information and misunderstanding of what it really is (often people think it is
about becoming rich and famous simply by envisioning themselves as rich and famous).
However, the basic principle can be compared to two tuning forks; if you strike one to produce a
note in proximity to the other fork, the 2nd fork will also begin to vibrate and produce the same
note. Our thoughts and emotions exist as a vibration that extends beyond our physical bodies, as
we interact with others our emotions are felt by those around us. If you pay attention to where
your emotions arise from, you might notice that a lot of negativity seems to be originating from
an unknown source. This foreign energy is usually being picked up from the people and world
around us. Without being able to distinguish between our own and the emotions of others, many
people are sucked into a spiral of depression. But the other side of the coin is that with positive
thoughts we can positively affect the interactions we have with others.

As consciousness grows, so does our ability to connect, empathize, and feel the emotions
of others. Learning to control what we allow ourselves to be exposed to can be an effective tool,
particularly in a crowd, and a lot of people will focus on how to shield themselves from others.
But I would advice leaving it as a last resort, instead of focusing your energy trying to fight the
never ending tide of emotions we experience, to the point where you collapse under the pressure;
allow the waves to run through you, learn to recognize your own genuine emotions from the
emotions you are feeling in others.
When you feel an emotion arising, the most important thing is to recognize whether it's
an internal or external source. Once you have identified where the thoughts are coming from it is
much easier to digest them. Don't think of it as a bad thing, you can form much closer bonds with
people when youre our able to feel what others feel. You are able to help those who are in need
of help but are two proud or ashamed to ask for it. Empathy is what drives mankind to
accomplish beautiful things. Distance is irrelevant to empathy. Your desire to help others, to
make a difference, is what makes you naturally empathetic to, and influenced by, the emotions of
others. But it is not a bad thing; your empathy is how you learn where you can help.
Just remember that if your goal is to be super happy 100% of the time, you will never
reach it. Eternal happiness does not exist. Happy and sad are simply two ends of the same scale,
one cannot exist without the other. The beauty of a flower will inevitably fall to decay. What you
can do is learn to recognize that you are not your emotions or your thoughts, you are simply the
awareness that watches your thoughts and feels your feelings Enlightenment is not eternal
happiness, however it does bring eternal peace, even in the darkest of times.
Many people get a glimpse at the mysteries of the universe and think they know
everything about everything. That's why its important to question everything they are told about
the world, no matter how holy or spiritual the source is. Imagine yourself as two entities and
argue both for and against what youre told. If something does not resonate with you, if you find

it doesn't sit right with you, cast it aside unless you find evidence of its validity. Always be
aware that truth can come from liars, and an honest persons words may be false. The majority of
the time there is no deceit in their words, for they very much believe it to be true; and honest
words are not a lie if they are true to those who speak them. Our own truth is unique to ourselves,
and only you can tell if an honest person says false words out of ignorance, or if a deceitful
person speaks truth out of deceit. For truth can also be a lie if the person who speaks it believes it
to false therefore a good rule of thumb is that anyone telling you they know the truth probably
has no idea what they are talking about, however if they tell you that the truth is inside you all
you have to do is find it, they are probably walking in the right direction. Truth is relative to our
own perspective, but nobody can lie to you better than yourself.
We all have a small glimpse at the mysteries of existence, and it is distorted by the lenses
of our unique perspectives, all we can do is ask what others can see through their lens and
together gain a higher perspective of our own true nature. Statements about the spiritual world
are often contradictory, but that does not mean one is true and the other is false it means the big
picture is being looked at from different angles, they could both be right or they could both be
wrong, only by looking from as many angles as possible can we get a real glimpse at reality.
There is a point in every persons spiritual journey where they come to a certain
realization, and it can either be a beautiful thing or a lead to horrible consequences if the person
does not understand the dual nature of reality, that every truth is only half true, that there is a
distinction between the absolute and the relative truth. But to really understand this critical fork
in the road first you must realize the difference between you and your ego and avatar, for they
are two very different things. Your avatar is your body; your ego is your emotions, your
thoughts, and your memories. YOU are what moves the avatar, you body. You are what feels
your Egos emotions, hears your thoughts, and views your memories. YOU are an eternal being,
viewing the world through the ego of our own creation. The difference between I and my
ego is the concept "me" for the absolute truth is there is no me, or you, or them, there is only "I"
and I am viewing the world through my ego, and I am viewing the world through your ego,
and I am we, and we are one. "I" am the part of you that is pure awareness, and "you" are the
part of "I" that is the creator of all that is. Many people will get lost on this concept and anoint
their ego god. In viewing the world as their own creation they willingly trample over their own
true self viewing the world from another ego. It is truly tragic, and far too common. But never
forget that no matter how dark the world is, a single candle will always conquer the shadows.
Unfortunately we live in a very polarized world. There are people who would give the
world just to make their live a little better, but do not let it discourage you, there are also people
who would give their lives just to make the world a little better. The trick is to be able to
differentiate which path a person would likely take, and to remove yourself from the group of
people who would throw you under the bus at the first opportunity to make their own life better.
Surround yourself with people who would do any and everything to make the world a better
place. Those are the people who will truly care about how you feel, what you think, and who you

are. If they are only worried about themselves, they are not worth your time, move on to those
who care about others, including and especially those who care about you.
Do not regret your past, ever. You had to be who you were yesterday so that you would
become who you are today. You have to be who you are today, so that you will become who you
will be tomorrow. Nothing happens by accident, the universe/God (whichever you prefer) is
shaping and molding you, so that you can teach the world the lessons, only you can teach.
There is a lesson to be learned in each and every moment. If we take these moments to
gain a greater understanding of life, there are no bad moments, only lessons learned.
True beauty must be felt, not seen. True beauty is felt in our affection towards another
being, not seen in their physical attributes. Can you feel the beauty emanating from within
yourself? Don't be afraid to share it with the world. Beauty is not measured in the flesh, it is not
the way you look, nor is it what you wear. Wealth is not measured in currency, it is not the house
you own, nor is it the car you drive. Wisdom is not measured by diplomas, it is not the books
youve read, nor is it what you have been told.
There is no truth so profound, that it cannot be found through introspection. You have the
answers to all your questions; others can only help you find the truth within yourself. You do not
need to travel the world or speak with spiritual masters to find yourself, they are simply
reminders to look within and find the truth you forgot was there. You should be smart enough to
answer the questions, and brave enough to question the answers.
You cannot fix all of the worlds problems; you can only do what you CAN do. Fix what
you are able to fix, improve what you can improve, and help who you can help. A single stone
cast into the water ripples across the entire ocean. Your actions, however seemingly small they
may be, echo across time for an eternity. The question is will they be waves of love or waves of
fear? If the world seems dark, burn brighter.
Teach, and you will learn.
Care and you will be cherished.
Inspire, and you will be inspired.
Give and you will receive.
Scatter and you shall accumulate.
Love and you shall be loved.
You get what you give, you reap what you sow; what will you give the world from your
joyous heart? Write a book, paint a picture, strum a song, plant a garden, help the needy, feed the
hungry, do whatever you can to create something beautiful. When you make the world a better
place, everybody, including you, reaps the benefits.

Once you know the
answer to this question you will have found the reason for your existence, Stand up, speak up,
and have no doubts in your actions, for no one could fill your absolutely critical role in the
universe, better than you can. You were the only candidate to fill the position of you, and the
world would not be what it is or will be without you. You will meet untold resistance, you may
be ridiculed, mocked or even shunned, but do not be dismayed when all has been said and done,
when then has become now, all will see and all will know the gift you shared with the world
and the beautiful necessity of you being exactly who you are. Without you, we would not be us,
you are the part of us all that sees the world the way only you can see, through your experiences
and growth we all experience and grow. From the part of me that is a part of you, thank you for
all you have endured and suffered through, may we both grow in reflection of your unique
perspective.
At our core, we are all the same consciousness. I am you, viewing the world through my
eyes, and you are me viewing the world through your eyes. If you look deep into their eyes, you
will see yourself reflecting back. Together, we as one, explore the mental universe of our own
imaginative creation.
You are the heir to the throne of the kingdom of your mind...
Rise up and claim your inheritance, or let it be ruled by those who seek to shape and mold it into
serving their own kingdom. Will you buy them off with your servitude? Or will you follow your
own path, and rule your kingdom as you see fit.
You are the highest form of royalty, you are pure consciousness. No army can lay siege
to your kingdom; you have and always will be free. All threats are idle, the body may die, but
something as immaterial as consciousness, can never be harmed by something as unconscious as
matter.
Make you kingdom of imagination a shining example of love, peace, and joy. For the
waves of emotions we send out to other Kingdoms, come crashing back upon us. It doesn't
matter if it is positive or negative; the vibrations we send out resonate with others, and just like a
tuning fork, produce the same vibration which comes back to us. Karma is not about punishing
you, it is simply a fundamental law of existence, every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Those who look behind the veil
are those who see when others fail.
Those who go beyond the pale,
whose tongue, will dance to no avail;
those who seek a balanced scale,
their strength of mind are not too frail.

Those who truth does not curtail,

soon the lies they will be dispel.
Those who walk upon the trail,
where love and light freely sail,
who ache and yearn with each exhale,
that hidden hands will be derailed.
Their love and light will soon prevail,
for those whose souls are not for sale.
Those who found the Holy Grail,
who sought the truth in great detail,
soon their limbs will freely flail,
as words profound they do unveil.

I bow to you, queens and kings, and thank you for allowing these thought vibrations to enter
your kingdom.
