Voter I.D. laws, age, and education all play a big role in
voter turnout in elections. Voter I.D. laws state that a
person cannot vote in presidential elections if he or she
does not have proof of age and US citizenship. Age
determines whether or not a person is more likely to vote.
Younger people usually dont vote while older people are
more likely to vote. The education a person gets also
influences the view a person has of what the government
should be doing. Voter turnout is greatly affected by all of
this because younger people dont usually vote and that
greatly affects the outcome of the presidential election.
Closed elections also lower the voter turnout because a
person might not be able to choose the candidate they
want.
