DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINES MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:

A SYSTEM APPROACH
With the help of the methodology of a system approach, the problems of the development of
Ukraines mechanical engineering and the modern notion of competitiveness are clarified.
The threats for the development of the mechanical engineering on the external and internal
markets are indicated. The mechanical engineering is considered as one of the principal
elements in the development of productive forces. The reasons for the crisis state of Ukraines
mechanical engineering are elucidated by examples of separate kinds of the economic activity.
Some measures for the transformation of Ukraines mechanical
engineering into a competitive system are recommended.
