The provision, which was approved by the House lat year as pat of the FAA Reauthorization Act, would change the labor laws that have governed our express company since its inception and make it easier for local labor disputes to disrupt ‘ur entire express delivery system. The Senate version of the legislation, currently under consideration, does nat contain the UPS special interest provision. Ifthe Senate approves a clean tll, as we hope it will, the House and Senate versions will have to be reconciled, ‘The change UPS is seeking could aisrupt aur business model and have a dramatic impact an the way we do business, It could impact our customers, it could impact our partners, and it would impact each of you.
