PERSONAL INTERESTS
Has a keen interest in youth leadership having been actively involved in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award)
for four years. RYLA is a one week residential camp for people between 18 and 25 years of age. The week is
designed to cover concepts of self and community leadership, with the underlying focus of challenging oneself
beyond the comfort zone. Involvement in this program both as a delegate and facilitator has imparted valuable
leadership and communication skills in an emotion charged environment.

Instrumental Teacher of Piano, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder and Saxophone at Auburn Primary School
This involves the teaching of 10 students per week at the school. Responsible for the delivery, planning and
preparation of the lessons and tracking the students improvement through the year.

Head High Jump Coach


Under the leadership of Efim Shuravetsky, Stephen Cain and Luke Travers, responsible for the development of
the senior High jump team for the APS Athletics Carnival. Forced to leave the team in 2014 due to university
commitments.

After spending a season coaching javelin, discus and shot put for the team, was asked to head the program and
change disciplines to sprints, hurdles and distance running. This expanded role required a larger time
commitment and included responsibility of being the first point of contact between the school and the other
contracted coaches.
