Suggested reading: Section 4.2.2, 4.4 (p338-345), Kurose and Ross.
1. Consider a network given in the figure for P26 (page 422).

Construct the forwarding tables for nodes y and u. You may use destination node and next
node as the two columns in a forwarding table. (You may also eyeball the shortest paths if
needed.)
Are y-table and u-table the same? Why/why not?

2. P10 in Chap 4 with the following changes:

Part (a): Provide a forwarding table with a.b.c.d/x format for the prefixes (not the binary string)
Part (b): The same as that in the book.

Additional: Provide a subnet mask for the first entry in the forwarding table.

3. P13 in Chap 4.
4. Try something out: Find a location where your IP address is shown in IPv6.

Provide the IPv6 address you obtain, and the location (e.g., a coffee shop on x street)
Provide an expression for the general format of IPv6 (i.e., length, symbols used, bits/symbol, )

-----------------------------------------------------------------------5. Queuing experiment (by 12/1 but can submit earlier if you like): Active queue posted separately.
