Subject: Failure of Phillips Dry Iron ( MODEL-GC 135) Before Warranty Period
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to make a complaint against one of your products that I purchased. The
Phillips Dry Iron (MODEL- GC 135) was bought on 23 rd August, 2015 from Gulshan-2 outlet.
The product came with a warranty of 3 years. However within just 2 months, the product became
obsolete. On 27th October, 2015, the coating of base of the iron melted during ironing and ruined
my shirt which costs around 2500tk. Since then it has been impossible to do ironing with it.
I am a regular customer of your shop and have been satisfied with the previous products that I
have purchased. However, this product has really been a problem for me as it has caused me
more monetary loss than its own purchasing price. Since it has failed to pass its warranty period,
according to the policy, it should be repaired to working state or be replaced by a new one. And
if replacement is not possible, then I would like a refund of my money. I also believe I deserve
retribution for the damage of my shirt. The purchase receipt, iron and shirt are attached with this
letter.
Therefore, I would appreciate if you consider this complaint sincerely and take quick steps to get
resolve this problem.
