Learner Expectations
In order to succeed in K&E Mathematics 9 students will be required to:
Come to class on a consistent basis, and arrive on time. If you are late
for any reason, please enter the room quietly and take your seat without
disturbing others.

Arrive with materials required to succeed. This includes items such as

binders, pencils, highlighters, and textbooks. Additionally, students will be
required to bring a scientific calculator to class. Cell phone calculators
work well for in-class work, or quick referencing (with teacher permission).
However, they will not be permitted during any exam or test.
Participate during class time and remain on-task for the duration of the
class.
Take responsibility for your own learning. This includes listening to
instructions, and asking questions when instructions are not understood.
Nose Creek School takes great pride in creating a safe and positive
atmosphere for all of its students. If any student is found to be disrupting
the positive classroom environment (with poor behavior, comments,
bullying, etc.), they will be dealt with immediately by the teacher and
should expect a phone call home. If the problem persists, intervention by
administration will ensue.
