Reasons that America needs a strong dollar

A strong dollar means that its cheap to buy goods produced in America,
meaning that more stuff is produced in America rather than china
A strong dollar or a dollar backed by something means that you will be the
only nation in the world to have a currency backed by something so you will
become the best reserve currency
Americans can travel anywhere for quite cheap and sell their goods for
reasonable prices so companies dont want to move out

Reasons that America doesnt need a strong dollar policy

A strong dollar means that its cheap to buy goods produced in china and
other parts of the world, meaning that stuff is cheaper than if it were
produced in America because in a fair game America cant compete with
china
A strong dollar is harder to maintain than a weaker and more relaxed form
meaning that in times of hardship you dont have to be bound by honor or
contract to do nothing
A relaxed dollar is better for tourism meaning that the many jobs dedicated
to tourism and travel even only partly will damage these companies

Will clean energy help economic growth?

The original question was will clean energy drive economic growth and to me that
seemed a little farfetched because energy does not drive economic growth, people
drive economic growth, clean energy saves people worries but it is in my opinion a
side note to economic growth, and clean energy is the best side note out of the two
but still not a driving force
Reasons clean energy will help economic growth

It will save us from the cost of global warming and diseases linked to fossil
fuel burning
Clean energy (solar, dams, wind, tide, geothermal and other renewable
energy sources) will help stop the energy trade deficit
It will provide jobs
It will grow because it has potential

Reasons clean energy will not help economic growth

It is only 5% of the total energy production

People do not care that much about clean energy, they would rather have
cheap dirty energy than prohibitively expensive clean energy
The jobs that clean energy provides cost the taxpayer between 200,000 to
1,000000 per job

Clean energy is taking a lot time and government subsidies to function, Nixon
said that there would be very few oil cars by 2000, if the concept was in his
mind then why is it not true now

There is a problem with this question and that is what is clean energy? Is it
renewable energy? (solar, dams, wind, tide, geothermal) is it renewable energy
plus nuclear is it renewable energy plus nuclear and natural gas is it all energy
sources in moderation? Is it the conservation of energy and not the way it is
produced that makes it green? Is it a combination of those? Is it none of those?
The answer is a matter of personal judgment and there is no solid answer
