May 14:
Steve Earle and The Dukes
After topping the charts in 1986 with his debut record, Guitar Town, Steve Earle
has become a music icon as a folk singer-songwriter, record producer and recording
artist. Since then, Steve Earle has released 15 studio albums and received three
Grammys for his New Country sound.

June 25:
An Evening with Junior Brown
With his unique voice, songwriting craft, and even more distinctive double-necked
Guit-Steel guitar, there has absolutely never been anyone like Junior Brown. Since
the beginning of his career in 1984, Junior Brown has released nine studio albums
and charted twice on the Billboard country singles charts.

July 10:
Red Molly
Americana powerhouse vocal trio, Red Molly, is known for their gorgeous
harmonies, crisp musicianship, infectious songwriting, and warm, engaging stage
presence. From folk roots to bluegrass, from heartbreaking ballads to barn-burning
honky tonk, Laurie MacAllister, Abbie Gardner, and Molly Venter weave together the
threads of American music.

September 24:
The Mavericks
After delivering their neotraditional country music with Latin influences to
audiences over the past two decades, the Grammy Award winning band, The
Mavericks, return with their new album, Mono. They are best known for their
intense live shows and group industry awards such as Vocal Group and Album of the
Year.

October 11:
Solid Soul Tour with Mavis Staples and Joan Osborne
Grammy Award winning legend Mavis Staples teams up with American singer-
songwriter Joan Osborne. The Solid Soul tour marks her first collaboration with
Osborne where they mix Staples rhythm and blues with Osbornes country sound.

October 16:
Swinging Cowboys: A Tribute to the American West with Jason Petty
Actor and musician Jason Petty presents a night of music, stories and humor with
Swinging Cowboys. With this tribute to the Great American West, audiences will
enjoy a trip down memory lane with songs from Stephen Foster to the Singing
Cowboys to Western Swing.

October 28:
Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt
Two of the most admired singer-songwriters, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, return to
the Manship stage with a night of acoustic hits. Four-time Grammy Award winner
Lyle Lovett and Grammy Award nominee, John Hiatt, take turns playing songs from
their huge repertoires of hits.

October 31:
ODC Dance
ODC Dance Company, known worldwide for its athleticism, passion and intellectual
depth, take the stage for a night of award winning dance. ODC has been awarded
Best Dance Company in the San Francisco Bay Guardians Best of the Bay for
several years along with a plethora of other credits and honors for their esteemed
staff of choreographers and dancers.

November 2:
A Light in the Dark, Story of Helen Keller and Ann Sullivan
(Thodos Dance of Chicago)
Thodos Dance of Chicago tells the inspiring story of Helen Keller, the deaf and blind
woman who overcame her disabilities to become a noted author, activist and
inspiration to the world, and her teacher Anne Sullivan, who led Helen out of her
disabled state and helped her become the inspirational celebrity she is today.
Through this full-length story ballet, the story of Helen Keller will spark discussions
about disability awareness in middle school audiences.

November 10:
Paquito DRivera
Cuban-American clarinet player, saxophonist, composer and conductor Paquito
DRivera is celebrated as one of the worlds leading Latin jazz instrumentalists. As a
winner of 14 Grammy Awards, DRivera has released over 30 solo albums and
played on dozens more.

November 12:
Skippy Jon Jones Snow What!
(Theatreworks USA)
Based on the #1 New York Times bestselling childrens book by Judy Schachner,
Skippy Jon Jones, the Siamese cat who thinks hes a dog, stars in an all-new musical
of his adventures in a magical snowy forest. With a show filled with music, rhymes,
and wordplay, this Theatreworks USA production does not lack in fairy tale fun.


November 17:
The Giver
Based on the novel by Lois Lowry, The Giver tells the story of 12-year old Jonas
journey through his dystopian world when he is chosen for special training from
The Giver- to receive and keep the memories of the community. Through this
astonishing and moving adaptation, audiences will learn what it means to grow up,
to grow wise and to take control of their own destiny.


December 6:
The Shoemaker and the Christmas Elves
(Theatre IV)
Based on the story by the Grimm Brothers, Theatre IV takes a Christmas spin on a
classic fairytale of a poor shoemaker and the magical elves that help him understand
the true meaning of Christmas. Throughout this musical, audiences will celebrate
the Christmas season while learning about folk tales, self-esteem, and stories from
other lands.


December 12:
BeauSoleil Holiday
This Lafayette, LA based band has become one of the most well known groups for
performing traditional and original music of Creole of Louisiana. This Grammy
Award winning group pushes past the traditional Louisiana sound and incorporates
elements of rock and roll, jazz, blues and so much more.

December 16 & 17:
Hot Jazz Cool Nights with Brian Shaw
Baton Rouge local and Louisiana State University trumpet and jazz studies
professor, Brian Shaw, takes the Manship stage with his concert series Hot Summer
Nights and Cool Jazz alongside pianist Willis Delony and bassist Bill Grimes. As an
active Baroque trumpet player, Shaw has performed throughout North America and
released a CD including some of the most difficult pieces ever written for the
instrument, accompanied by an orchestra comprised of New Yorks finest period
musicians.

January 25-31:
Amy Hall Dance Inspiration
As a graduate from the Julliard School, Amy Hall Garner is emerging as one of
Americas unique and diverse creative talents. She is known for her theater and film
credits as well as her choreography at major artistic institutions such as NYUs Tisch
School of the Arts, Broadway Dance Center and The Julliard School.

January 23:
Doktor Kaboom LIVE WIRE: The Electricity Tour

With an all-new science comedy show, Doktor Kaboom returns with his one-man
show focused on the power of electricity. Through his interactive shows and
improvisational style, Doktor Kaboom will get audiences excited about science
through his spectacular and hilarious experiments.

January 2016
Peter Yarrow
As a successful artist and activist, Peter Yarrows gift for songwriting has produced
some of the most moving songs Peter, Paul & Mary have ever recorded. Honored
with several Grammy awards and nominations, Yarrow is best known for his songs,
Puff, The Magic Dragon, Day is Done, The Great Mandala, and Light One
Candle.

March 2016
Irvin Mayfield
At only 36 years old, Irvin Mayfield represents the continuity of the unfolding Jazz
legacy of New Orleans. Winning both a Grammy Award and a Billboard Award, this
versatile trumpeter, bandleader, composer, arranger, professor, cultural
ambassador and recording artist is on a path to position Jazz at the center of
American culture and become one of the most recorded and decorated Jazz
musicians of his generation.

February 21:
Romeo and Juliet (Aquila Theatre)
Recognized as the worlds most famous star-crossed lovers, Aquila Theatre presents
a new spin on the story of Romeo and Juliet through their innovative style and
dynamic physical approach. One of Shakespeares most famous stories will come to
life on stage with the tragedy of forbidden love against the will of their two powerful
families.

February 26:
Ana Gasteyer
Best known from her six years on Saturday Night Live and her Broadway roles in
Wicked and The Rocky Horror Show, Ana Gasteyer is on tour celebrating the release
of her first studio record, Im Hip a collection of jazz standards with Anas own
twist. Ana delivers superstar vocals, humor and a performance sure to dazzle
audiences.

February 28:
Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny
(Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia)
The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia presents Margaret Wise Browns classics,
Goodnight Moon, a story of familiar nighttime rituals, and The Runaway Bunny, a
tale of a make believe plan of a bunny leaving home. The show features animal
puppets, scenic effects and music to tell these timeless tales that have enchanted
audiences for over 60 years.


March 3:
Randy Newman
With six Grammys, three Emmys, and two Academy Awards, there is hardly another
composer to be found in Hollywood that is as multifaceted as Randy Newman. With
songs that run the gamut from heartbreaking to satirical and a host of unforgettable
film scores, Randy Newman has used his many talents to create musical
masterpieces widely recognized by generations of audiences.
March 9:
Savion Glover & Jack DeJohnette
Tap dancer, Savion Glover, takes the stage with drummer, Jack DeJohnette, for a
night of dance and music. Glover won a Tony award for his choreography in the
musical, Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk, and DeJohnette is a Grammy award
winner who has collaborated with the biggest names in jazz.
