Use Perpendicular Bisectors

5.2

Today I will perpendicular

bisectors to solve problems.

Vocabulary
Perpendicular Bisector - A segment, ray, line, or plane that is perpendicular to a segment
at its midpoint.

Vocabulary
Equidistant -

A point having the same distance.

Theorem 5.2 -

Perpendicular Bisector Theorem

If a point is on the perpendicular bisector of a segment, then

it is equidistant from the endpoints of the segment.
