Syllabus

Work Preparation is designed to support learners to become work ready and develop the skills and capabilities required for successful transition into the workplace
beyond Grade 12. In Work Preparation students complete a range of learning tasks that build evidence towards achievement in the Essential Skills Reading and Writing,
Maths and ICT courses as indicated in the Assessment Criteria. Students will have the opportunity to explore pathways options for the future with the guidance of their
teacher. Work Preparation aims to build students employability skills through collaborative learning tasks, personal reflection and independent work.
Course Delivery is flexible to meet the needs of learners. Ongoing elements of Work Preparation include: communication skills, team work, problem solving, negotiating,
time management and personal reflection.
