Asma PDP Goal 3

PDP Goal 3
Develop students learning by using verbal and nonverbal reward
Objectives:
1. The reward is helping the students to be active during the lesson
(Dawe, 2015).
2. The reward is leading students to feel happy, pride and
achievement during the lesson (Dawe, 2015).
3. To promote positive, suitable behavior and appropriate
communication between teacher and student (Dawe, 2015).
4. I will develop my strategies in improving my reinforcement in the
classroom to support students in learning and motivate them to
be more active during lesson tasks, through using verbal such as
excellent, good girl and non-verbal, such as group points.
5. According to Piaget, the rewards are playing an important role in
influencing the behavior and communication of students in the
classroom (McCartney, K., & Phillips, D. ,2008).
Competency areas
Planning for Learning: planning to increase interaction task in the
lesson plan through create variety of communication activities
such as discussions that related to the lesson.
Implementing and Managing Learning: building flexible
communication between teacher and students through ask
students open and friendly question.
Implementations Strategies
1. In the first week, I will notice the reaction of the students when
they have reward form the teacher
2. During the second week, I will notice students interaction before
and after rewarding them.
3. In the third weeks, I will search about activities and strategies
that help me to increase and develop my reward in the
classroom
4. Create group point poster with students names
5. In the fifth week, I will compare between the students reaction
and learning level from the first week of rewarding until the last
week in the semester.

Description:
This is a reward chart with my students names, I
gave the students, who follow my instruction
during the lesson, complete their task correctly
and be active students, one star.
Justification:
I encourage my students because they felt
proud when they had star from the teacher,
which was help them to be active to collect as
much as they can star from the teacher. This
strategy is help my learners to learn in a
successful way.
