Asmas Achievement

In the Achievement section, there are some of my awards and

certificates that I had during my studying at the Higher College of
technology, which made me feel proud.
1. The Global Education and Leadership Foundation

Description:
I get the Global Education and Leadership Foundation certificate in
March 2013. In this workshop, I learned how to be a successful and
effective leader through experienced different activities in the
workshop.
Justification:
This workshop helped me to develop my knowledge about leadership.
For example, this workshop is offered to me a chance to understand
the ability to resolve conflict, the knack for negotiation, the aptitude to
innovate, the skill to communicate quickly and effectively. The trainers
were very friendly in dealing with us, include physical activities in the
workshop to explain the meaning of leadership in an effective way. As
a teacher, this workshop teaches me how to be a good leadership in
the school and classroom, through working with other people in a
friendly way, setting the goals for my classroom and motivate the
students to follow it.
2. Microsoft Faculty Fellow Development

Description:
I got Microsoft Faculty Fellow and internal training certificates at IT
Department of HCT in 14th of June 2014, which develop my ICT skills.
In the Microsoft programs, I learned how new program such as DropBox
is helping me as a student teacher in my teaching practice. Really, this
workshop was helpful to improve my IT skills.
Justification:
In this workshop, I developed my knowledge in using new sharing
programs, such as Dropbox, to help me in the school sharing files with
my students and other teachers, whether in the classroom or outside
classroom. In addition, I learned that I can access Dropbox easily and
wherever, through using desktop access, mobile access or online
access.
