Abstract
The whole assignment is about team processing check, which is
divided into three steps. Firstly, finding the result of team performance
checking by every member of the team. Each of us checked and
evaluated the team by our own opinion and ideas and made a list of
five strength and two weak areas. Secondly, every member evaluated
by each other. Identified the strength areas and the areas that to be
improved. At the end each member discussed about the same person
that they evaluated him. The same team members made the items of
the process checks. The items were selected according to their
importance to us. The process checks are presented as follows:
consensus team process check, team members process checks, and
team members individual process checks. These process checks
helped us to improve our team every now and then, because it
addresses the issues that the team suffers from the point of view of
each member.

Work
To begin with, we conducted a long meeting on the 23 nd of
October 2015 in a caf in order to finish all the requirements of L-4 and
distribute the work equally. We began the meeting by making the
leader discuss the requirements of the assignment and ask him
questions about the unclear points of the assignments. Second, we
began rating each member individually by voting on each point and
taking the average of the votes and then rounding it to the nearest
whole number. In this step, we also discussed the areas of strength of
each team member and took the best three or four points. We also
discussed the areas to be improved and took the best two points. We

distributed the discussion of the individual process check equally by


giving each team member the rating of another member to write a
discussion about the voting that we have done. Next, the team leader
ask each member to complete the team process check individually by
rating the team using the table which is attached in the assignment,
and write at least five areas of the strength in the team and two areas
that can be improved, and writing a discussion about the rating he had
done by explaining each point and the ways to improve the
weaknesses in the time. Finally, we distributed the tasks among the
members and putting a deadline for the submission, then collecting
the assigned tasks from the members and making any required
corrections to produce as best work as we can.

Discussion
In the table above, table 2, we used Average Method, where we
took the sum of the members' ratings for each item and divided the
results by six, in order to reach to the consensus ratings. The table
shows our final evaluation of the team which we all agreed upon.

Reaching to team consensus is one of the main objectives for this


assignment when we all agree and reach to a common area
recognizing our strengths, being aware of our weaknesses and try to
improve them. In the first rating item, the average result of the voting
was 4. This shows that some of the team members believe that the
team didn't give its maximum power to become very productive.
Members 4 think the team productivity is still low and that we should
increase our work effort in order to become an outstanding team. In
the third item, all of us feel comfortable with each other. Nobody is shy
from the other and the attitude toward each other is perfect. This is
why item 3 got a score of 5, etc...
The areas of team strength are: Encourage each other, if
someone didn't make a task because he didn't understand it, we
encourage him to try his best and try to help him by explaining it more
than one time. Collaborative work in the team, where each member
participates in the given work and the tasks are distributed equally. In
addition, we are comfortable with each other, nobody is shy from the
other and the attitude toward each other is perfect. Furthermore, all of
us seek for the same goals in this course, which are getting a high
grade in the course, learning new techniques of problem solving, and
learning how to work with a team for the first time. The last point is
that we have good communication skills such as talking in front of
crowd and presenting speeches and power points. The areas that can
be improved in the team are: there is a weakness we suffer from which
is coming to meetings sometimes without being prepared. Another
area that we have avoid side conversations in the class or during
meetings.

Individual Team Process Check


In this stage, we will show the individual team process checks.
These process checks were evaluated individually by each member,
which can reflect every member opinion about the team. Each member

had to rate and discusses the points he rated, the areas of strength
and the areas that must be improved.

Discussion
After evaluation of team process check I found out that our team
is strong and creative. We have good combination of intelligent and
confident students. Every member sets same goal for the course
because everyone works hard to product a good project in the course.
Every member in the group helps each other if someone is in trouble.
There is a good understanding between our teammates that made us
we are comfortable with each other. We have lots of strength points
like team management, discipline, hard working, being optimist and
etc. Also, here are few points that our team should improve like being
unprepared and English level. Most of our teammates come without
they know the agenda of everyday work that its make some problems
in the class, also the English level of our teammates is little bit weak,
therefore we have little bit problems in our assignments, but the in the
future we will work harder to improve these points.

Discussion
Our team is very excellent. We share in our tasks, and respect
each other. We have the same goal, which leads us to achieve our
goals and to work properly. We evolve constantly to work together, and
we learn from each other English language. All members are happy to
work together. Although we got a few things that needs to be improve
such as preparation before meetings and classes and discussion in the
class.

Discussion
The above table list illustrates the evaluation of the team which
is done by member three sefatullah. We have built very strong bonds
of cohesiveness and relations between each other during being
together in a group. We actually get many experiences and we found
that the productive work requires considerable effort, cooperation,
sincerity, dedication to work and strengthen the team spirit to produce
the best work. We are trying to do our best to achieve the highest level
of success in this course. However, our team works very hard on any
given assignment. It is so keen to produce a high quality work in order
to satisfy whoever reads it. Every member in our team enjoys
participating and doing his best to improve the team performance and
because of that, those members appreciate each other's contributions.
There are many areas of the team strength such as, our team
members are energetic and full of potential, team members are
comfortable with each other; we solve problems no matter who
criticize. If a member is not familiar with a task we teach him the way
how he must conduct it, and we all knows the ability of each other.
Despite all these strength fields there are some areas that can be
improved in our team like coming on time when the meeting is fixed.

Also, developing a ways to resolve or change the mindset of our


members, because it is very important for making decisions process to
know the aim of our assignments and the determination that we are
toward to.

Discussion
Our team is a great team. We work hard together to achieve our
gaols in IE201 course and in our life. We divide the tasks between us
depend on our ability. Also, we are flexible and appreciate our
situations. We are in good relationship with each other in classes and
meeting. We are helping each other to do our tasks in high quality.
There are things we need to improve such as preparing before coming

to the meetings and the time management of meetings. We will try to


improve them to do the work in the best way.

Discussion
Fortunately, the relationship between our team members is very
close and strong. We are very serious about this course and about the
team work. By dividing the given tasks equally and make sour that
everyone is participating. Each of us works too hard even more than is
required from him. The team members are very ambitious, by have a
common goal which is, finishing this course with submitting a final
professional project and get the highest grads among the student. That
what will happen if we continue cooperating together in the work.
However, we have two weak areas that we hope to be improved during
this course, make sure to attend the classes on time and avoid side
conversations wither in the class or during the meeting.

Discussion
Now we will discuss the seven areas of team strength, which we
added. Then, we are going to discuss two areas, which have to be
improved. In the other hand, we have various skills in our team and the
most obvious one is our English language skills. To be honest, the most
important and strong point is that, we are hardworking students. And
this is making us very comfortable with each other. In addition, it
makes us very satisfied with the other members work product. Now,
we are going to move to write about the weak points in our team.
Fortunately, we managed to overcome all the previously mentioned
weak points. Nevertheless we came up with new weak points. First,
that we became very pessimistic in this class. We always predict the
worst scenarios. Even though we are working and doing our best, but
we will try to overcome this weak point and improve it, and we will try
our best to be optimistic team. One more weakness, that we became a
little bit more concentrated on the concept session due to bad marks in
the quizzes. So, we sometimes forget to review the final work product.
But we will try our best to overcome this weakness. And we will be
more committed in the lab session. During meetings actually, we used
to speak side conversation, but now we are self-monitored and we
know clearly, what we want. We used to be not concentrated during
meetings, but now we are putting our effort to be fully concentrated
during meetings. We cooperated a lot to overcome this weakness, and
we did it.

process checks. For this stage we utilized the method of making
meeting for every 5 members to evaluate the 6 th member and then we
voted and discussed the points we rated, the areas of strength and the
areas that must be improved.

Discussion
After evaluating Allah Mohammad Ibrahimi, We found Allah
Mohammad has many good thing such as, good English and being
prepared when he comes to meeting and class, which helps the team
in the work. He always attends all meeting on time. There are other
good things in Allah Mohammad that he Finishes tasks by deadline and
he Works cooperatively on course assignments. He helped everyone in
the team to improve English language. On the other hand, Allah
Mohammad got one simple thing to be improved which is disruptive
conversation in the class. We discussed and explained to him to avoid
it in next classes.

After finishing this process, member 2 (Ghassan) can learn or


realize the strength areas and the weak areas of himself by related to
above results and discussion. The strength areas will give him the
advantage to the team by offering and generating ideas. In addition,
we can develop and manage our team abilities, skills and performance
according to his strength areas. He can improve himself in the points,
which need improvement by depending on our comments in the above
discussion and by being more careful about meetings.

In this evaluation, we discovered many strength areas about
Sefatullah. He is a creative and optimist. He always encourages our
team to be the best team in our class. Also, He has good skills in
English language. He explains and discusses the ideas confidently. He
comes to meetings prepared. He works hard on his tasks. However,
Sefatullah has some weak areas that can be improved. He often comes
to class or meeting late. Also, he makes aside conversations during
class. We will try to help him to improve these weak areas during this
course.

Discussion
After evaluating Ammar, we found that he is very polite, respect
every one of us and he is so patient with assignments. He is so hard
worker, always pays attention on classes. Although Ammar got two
simple things that need to be improved which is weakness in English
speaking, and he rarely starts a discussion with us. As a team, we
discussed and explained to him that hard work needs to be discussed
with us to benefit our group.

Discussion
This is the evaluation of our most experienced member Hani
Mubarak Alghamdi, also called the team leader. As far he is
experienced, he is serious and hard worker too. He is well-prepared
student among us in the group. At the end of evaluation process, we
listed about three items as strengths of him including he is very
intelligent, serious solve-finder, hard worker and respect others. On the
other hand, we came up with two weak areas, which can be improved
like, coming up to meetings or class on time, and being creative on the
field of solving problems.

Discussion
Annas is just evaluated, he is the man of vision. He has more
strength areas than weak areas. He has just few weak areas that will
be improved by himself and by the assist of team members. Here some
strength areas will be taken as an illustration, for instance; he is hard
worker, means he works cooperatively, submit assignment by deadline
and resolve conflict constructively. He is good communicator, means
he lets everyone to speak in his turn, pays attention to ideas, well
manner and respects members. When task is given he resolves it by
time and the surprising news is that he solves every issue by himself
no matter how difficult is. On the other hand he has some weak points
which will be improved like, speaking except English in the group and
being on time.

The entire assignment is revolving around evaluation of team


and each member. We discussed and talked over the areas, which our
team is strong in, and the areas which our team must to be improved
in. In addition, we have found out a lot essential details about each
member for instance, the strength areas of each member and the
weak areas that he has to be improved in. This assignment was done in
three steps; firstly, each member completed the team process check
individually before the meeting, made a list of at least five areas of
team strength and a list of at least two areas that the team can be
improved in. Wrote a discussion about his work. Secondly, we made a
list of at least five areas of team strength and a list of at least two
areas that the team can be improved in. Wrote a discussion about our
work. Thirdly, we completed an individual process check for each
member of our team collectively. Made a list of at least five areas of
