Immigration
Immigration is the act of going to live,
permanently, in another country. This
has always occurred in El Paso, since it
shares the border with Ciudad Juarez,
Mexico.
It occurs when people decide to look for
a better life. They look for job and
education
opportunities,
safety,
a
different lifestyle, etc.
There are two types: legal and illegal
immigration. Legal immigration consists
of obtaining a green card, and this
allows one to obtain citizenship. On the
other hand, illegal immigration is
considered a crime, but many people
still do this.
People immigrate illegally to the United
States because they cant obtain a green
card in order to live here, and because
theyre willing to do jobs that have low
wages.
Many people dont think that illegal
immigration is bad. On the other hand,
there are also many people that are
against illegal immigration.

Solution
I
believe
that
illegal
immigrants
should
be
legalized, because this action
will allow the United States to
grow and to become an even
bigger melting pot. Even
though illegal immigration is
a crime, I believe that if
immigrants show that theyre
good people, that they show
that they can pay their taxes,
and if they show that that
theyre willing to work so they
can obtain benefits like any
other U.S. citizen, or resident.

Legalizing illegal immigrants

would benefit the U.S. in many
ways and it would also allow
the country to grow even more.
This would also help the
undocumented immigrants by
allowing them to pursue a
better life and so they can
satisfy their needs.
