As an incoming Freshman I didn't know what to expect aside from an ample amount of
work. While reading English 101 syllabus I knew I had a challenging semester ahead of me.
Throughout the semester I never felt overwhelmed with the work, Professor Andersen did a great
job of giving us sufficient time to complete assignments. With her enthusiasm and methods of
teaching she provided us with the tools we need in order to become better writers. One thing that
stood out to me was peer review, as I found it to be very helpful. Peer review allows you to
observe where your work needs improvement and new ideas you can possibly explore. Overall I
felt like it was great semester which allowed me to work on my writing. Writing has always been
one of my weaknesses but I have seen improvements. This only motivates me continue this
journey and become the best that I can be.
