My Plan Assessment- Thoughts and Reflections

Personality Test
Extroverted: I am person who displays their own feelings to others, or is just
generally outgoing
Sensor: A sensor tends to be a realist, who focuses on the details and prefers
looking at an abstract problem in a more matter-of-fact sense.
Thinker: Priding themselves in objectiveness and rationality, thinkers tend to seek
fairness and equality in the world.
Judger: Judgers often seek both strict guidelines, as well as situational flexibility.

I think these four personality types describe me quite well in their own sense, however I
do not feel that they completely create my individual personality. This, of course, is mainly due
to my own bias, as I am both the subject and the judge at the moment. For example, while I am
describe as extroverted, the test only displayed a sixty-percent extrovert score for me. When
comparing all of my scores side-by-side, by the test standards I should be predominantly a
thinker, however, I personally feel that the sensor label fits me much better as I try to look at
each individual problem I come across with an outlook containing as little bias as possible.
Interest Inventory
Investigative: Investigative people tend to think out-of-the-box and value
individuality the most.
Artistic: People described as artistic value creativity and self-expression the most.

I feel that the wide variety of characteristics suit me well as my knowledge and
subsequent interests are quite eclectic. I do not see, however, how the career path
most suited to me is engineering and architecture as I hate advanced mathematics
with a passion. I would have thought the sciences to be the top ranked career
categories as those are the subjects I excel in, due to my inherent love and skill for
traditional and social sciences.

Personally, I think success is measured in the happiness of the individual. For

even a person who digs ditches may be successful so long as they are happy and
fulfilled in every manner of their life. Of course, realistically, an individual is more
likely to be happy if they have the financial security of a job earning a monetary
value greater than minimum wage. With more money, said individual will be able to
afford the increasing cost of living without all while building an economic safety net
in case of pay-cut or job-loss.
