    statesthatthepopulationofFishersis86,325people;comparatively,Fishershadapopulationofabout350
    peoplein1963!Thisrapidlygrowingcommunityhasamedianhouseholdageof33andamedian
    householdincomeof$90,437.Fishersisapredominantlywhitecommunity,with85.6%ofresidents
    identifiedasCaucasianinthe2010census.Thesamecensusshowsthat5.6%percentofthecommunityis
    blackorAfricanAmerican,5.5%isAsian,.2%ofthecommunityisAmericanIndianaorAlaskanNative,
    and2.1%ismultiracial.TheHamiltonSoutheasternschooldistrictcontains20,000studentswithinits21
    schools,including12elementaryschools(K4),3intermediateschools(56),4juniorhighschools(78),

    froma201415datacollection,andtherehasbeenasignificantredistrictingthathasreducedclasssizes
    andchangedsomeofthecommunitiesthatthisschooldrawsfrom.TheracialdemographicofFallCreek
    IntermediateisconsistentwiththeprofileoftheFisherscommunity,andoutof1,219studentstotal,there
    are1,020whitestudents,57Hispanicstudents,56blackstudents,45Asianstudents,40multiracial
    students,and1AmericanIndianstudent.Only17studentsareEnglishLanguageLearners.Thisschoolhas
    arotatingclassschedulewherestudentsspend7consecutivedaysineachrelatedartsclass(music,art,or
    gym)androtatesthroughallthree.Thismeansthatamusicteacherwillseethesameclassesforseven
    days,andwillthengotwoweeksbeforeseeingthesamesetofstudentsagain.Becauseofthisrotation

    totheseassistantsinmusicclass.Ourschoolusesa35minutestimeblockforteacherstofloatbetween
    assignedhomeroomteachersandprovideassistanceandtutoringtostudentswhoarestruggling.
