Buddhisms effect on society is that it
changed its followers way of life and their pursuit of nirvana. It also taught people to meditate and connect with nature. Modern day traditions of Buddhism are meditation and temple worship. Buddhism began in northeast India and spread to the rest of Asia, then the world. Lastly, Buddhism believes in the Four Noble Truths which includes the Eightfold Path.

around 600 to 500 BCE. The main beliefs of Buddhism are the achieving of nirvana and inner peace. Also, it deletes the attachment to earthly possessions. There is no one God in Buddhism; Buddha is the Siddhartha. Buddhism doesnt have a religious book but has sacred texts including the Dhammapada.
