To Whom it May Concern:

When Natalie Navarette asked me to write a letter of recommendation for her to receive
employment as a certified teacher, I was pleased to do so because she is a goal-oriented student
who has shown the professional drive to meet and exceed rigorous expectations. I have
supervised Ms. Navarette since August of 2014, which has consisted of me tracking her
attendance, using a professionalism rubric with maintaining her high level of professionalism
throughout her full-year student teaching practicum, teaching five of her university courses, and
performing her performance evaluations. She is currently student teaching in a 2nd Grade
English Language Development classroom and will be doing so throughout the entire 2015-2016
school year.
What have made me appreciate Ms. Navarette and her dedication to the profession have been the
choices she has made throughout the year to acclimate herself as a part of the school campus as,
as well as her willingness to work in collaboration with her Mentor Teacher. She was very
flexible when implementing new curricular programs, as well as seeking and accepting feedback
along the way. She has made herself available for all parent-teacher conferences, participates
during staff meetings, and has done so on her own initiative.
Ms. Navarettes greatest teaching strength is her ability to take the standards from each lesson,
break down the objectives in a measurable form, and teach the objectives to the students in an
authentic fashion that reaches her community of learners. She uses a plethora of visual, audio,
and kinesthetic activities in order to reach all of her students in the most systemic fashion. Her
positive and patient approach to planning her lessons, collaborating with her Mentor Teacher, and
implementing professional development she learned with how to implement school-wide
initiatives was immediately implemented with precision.
I cannot say enough about Natalie Navarettes achievements throughout the iTeach program, in
which she has done an amazing job, academically and professionally, balancing a full-time course
load with a full-time student teaching responsibility. I know that she not only will be efficient in
any endeavor, but also will be successful at doing the research and collaboration necessary to
complete required frameworks of expectations. For these reasons, I am recommending her to
work in any capacity that she desires. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to
contact me.
