In 2015, Gateway was asked by the HSE to help the local services to inform other service users about
Gateway. Our members decided that Gateway should find ways to reach out to others in the community and
agreed to to explore the opportunities as a group in January 2016.
The workshop will be a space to learn and share ideas about connecting with others by getting Gateway
mobile through community outreach as a group.
We will explore:
What is outreach? Why is it important?
Getting Gateway mobile - the benefits and challenges
Setting up a mobile group for outreach
