people.

WehavecontinuouslyworkedforthesamequalityofcitizenshipforallJamaicans,regardlessof
gender,sexualorientation,economicstatus,orotherfactors.

OnApril9,USPresidentBarackObamaduringhisspeechattheUniversityoftheWestIndies,
YouthTownHallmeeting,hailedourcofounderandExecutiveDirector,AngelineJackson,as
oneoftheislandsremarkableyoungleaders,saying:

insteadofremainingsilentshechosetospeakoutandstartedherownorganizationto
advocateforwomenlikeher,getthemtreatmentandgetthemjusticeandpushback
againststereotypesandgivethemsomesenseoftheirownpower.Andshebecamea
globalactivist.

ensuringthatthemission,visionandvaluesarespreadthroughouttheLGBTcommunity.

Throughthekindsupportofvariouspersons,andtheprojectwithAdvocatesforYouth,QCJ
conducteditsprogramsandgavecontinuoussupporttotheLBTcommunityonabudgetof
$12,000USD.

EveryindividualandorganisationthathashelpedQCJ,fromwordsofadviceandencouragement
tofundinganddonationoforganisationalmaterial,wesayTHANKYOU!.Withoutyoursupport
QCJwouldnothavemadetheachievementsofthepastyear.

In2016QCJstrivestocontinueouroutreachandprograms,empoweringtheLBTcommunityto
becomeactivistintheirownright,toadvocatefortheirequalcitizenshipandtocreateaJamaica
inwhichallJamaicansregardlessoftheirsexualorientation,genderidentity,orotherstatus,are
includedandvaluedasequalcitizens,andmakeJamaicatheirplaceofchoicetolive,work,raise
families,anddobusiness(AngelineJackson).
