My substitute plans are a display of using instructional time effectively to maximize student achievement. The outline includes detailed times, content areas, and steps of instruction. My plans include necessary detail to help the substitute feel welcomed to the classroom, and also provides instruction to maximum student achievement when I am absent from the classroom. These plans are very similar to my own plans of instruction, but I include more specific details to help guide the substitute with the required materials and detailed steps. Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better) My substitute plans are one example of how I use instructional time effectively to maximize student achievement. I am a very organized and well prepared teacher. I make sure that my instruction is delivered in the best way to fit my students needs, and uses my time wisely in each lesson. It is important to prepare your materials and supplies for the instruction. I make sure I have these materials ready to go such as packets printed off, manipulatives for math, guided reading literature, and teacher manuals. I make the most out of each lesson by preparing the necessary materials, and preparing my students for the task at hand. I am going to continue to use instructional time effectively to maximum student achievement.
