Good morning,

My name is Vibha Maheshwari and I am a grade 7 student at New Millennium

School. My hobby is reading. I read many types of books viz., story books, magazines
and any other material that I find interesting.
I got into reading at an early age. When I was in elementary school, my parents used
to read to me a variety of interesting story books. Then as I grew up, knowing my
interest in reading, I used to get story books as a birthday gift. I have developed a
good collection of books at home.
Reading enables me to learn about so many things that I would otherwise not know. I
learned about, history, lifestyle of people in olden days and human values by reading
Amar Chitra Katha and Panchtantra. The adventure stories of Magic Tree House are
particularly captivating and the fascinating tales described in books by Roald Dahl are
page turner till the very end.
I also read other books about wonders of the world, space travel, human
achievements, animal & plant life diversity and other fascinating things of our world.
Books provide the reader with so much information and facts. Besides keeping me
informed about the world, the hobby enables me to improve my imagination and
creative writing skills. It is indeed a good hobby.
