DIANA VALENCIA
Objective
Throughout my lifetime I have gained the skills of organization, especially now that I am a server. It
is crucial to have some type of organization while writing down orders especially when people have
separate checks and when it is busy. If we don't, well good luck because then one would be giving
the wrong checks to the wrong person and the wrong food to the wrong table. However, I have
always had high organizational skills, just ask my closet.
Something that I have come to realize is that I love helping others and I love making others feel
empowered. I used to volunteer at a dog pound and helping those poor animals get adopted was
one of the best feelings ever. Also, during the 2012 presidential elections I volunteered to sign those
qualified to vote. We went from house to house signing people up. It was amazing to help new
voters feel empowered and in control.
My objective is simply to help those who feel they cannot do anything about their life circumstances.
My objective is to make others feel empowered. My objective is to see joy in other peoples face and
to turn lifes around for the good.
