7Ps in the Art Room

Prompt: Be on time to class. If you are late, you must get a

note from the teacher whose class you are coming from.

Polite: Respect other people and their art work. Do not waste
or misuse the art materials and equipment. (Locate the scrap
paper pile)

Produce: Projects are completed demonstrating neat, QUALITY

work. Good attendance is the key to keeping up with class
work.

Participation: Contributing your ideas to the class discussion,

circle, or group work.

PMA (Positive Mental Attitude): Be willing to try new things.

Take a risk for learning. Be open to suggestions and dont
respond negatively to redirects

Prepared: Bring a pencil to class. Be alert and mentally ready.

Sleeping is not allowed in class.

Perseverance: When a project becomes difficult, frustrating, or

changes on you Dont give up! Experience the process and
have patience.

Eating is not permitted in class.

No student is permitted to leave class without an official

hall pass filled out and signed by teacher

Students need to refrain from cursing and talking about

inappropriate things such as violence in my classroom.

Turn cell phones (and any other devices listed on

the electronic devices policy) off and put them
out of my sight! Texting and using cell phones in class
are not permitted. Your device will be taken away and
given to the front office to be picked up at the end of the
day.

The classroom phone is not to be used. If you need to

make a call you can do it in the front office at an
appropriate time.

If given permission to go to Restroom you are expected

to be back in class within 5 minutes otherwise
considered cutting class. (4th Block can not leave room
after 2:00p.m.)

Running or horseplay will not be tolerated!

Do not talk or be distracting during lesson there will be

time to talk during individual work time.

Do not work on sewing machine tables unless we are

doing a project using the sewing machines.

Students are expected to be responsible when missing

class and bring me a note and check for make up work to
complete on your own time.

Any folder work that is not in order will not receive

credit.
