February Newsletter

Dear Parents,
I am looking forward to meeting with each of you at
the parent/teacher conferences on February 4th and 5th.
Reminder there is drop in kids club for your conference
time. The kids have grown so much since the last time we
met for conferences and I am so excited to hear what you
think of your childs progress.
February is a short month but it will be packed full of
activities. We will have Valentine party Friday, Feb 12 th. I
will put out a sign-up sheet for snacks. Just a reminder,
our party usually happens when we have snack. As far as
Valentine exchange, we will decorate a bag in class and
you are welcome to bring Valentines for your childs
classmates. The bags will be sent home to open. If you
have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Valentines, shadows, dental health, and dinosaurs will be
our curriculum themes. We will focus on letters P, Q, R
and numbers 5, 6. Please see monthly curriculum for
activities.
Looking ahead in March:
March 7th -Read and Romp (parent volunteers will be
needed).
March 14th-18th - No school due to spring break.
March 23-Spring individual and class pictures.
