Brown wins BIG with Beko

Elizabeth Brown (pictured) could not believe her ears when informed of the major prize win in the Win Big with Beko promotion
which was executed by Prouds last Christmas.
The Airports Fiji Limited employee was stunned when she received
a call from Prouds Retail Manageress Reshmi Singh on January 22
when the grand promotion culminated with the major draw.
Ms Brown has won herself a collection of six different Beko electrical appliances worth around $8,000 as the major prize. Items won included a dishwasher, rangehood, washing machine, fridge, microwave
and free standing stove (as shown on the right).
Wow, I dont know what to say, Im so excited, Brown said during the telephone conversation.
I am over the moon, she added.
The promotion which started on December 2 last year had a total
prize giveaway of $14,000 and attracted almost 20,000 entries from all
Prouds outlets located in various towns and cities.
Beko is an award winning home appliance range which has become

outlet at the Suva Central complex on Monday, January 11.
Arriving late for the presentation, he said he rushed from the
funeral of his mother, who was
the subject behind the letter he
wrote for publication in The Fiji
Times.
He said the prize had huge
sentimental value because of the
letter he wrote in October, in

which he raised awareness on his

mother's dialysis treatment.
"She died after undergoing dialysis treatment," Mr Kaleca said.
He said he was happy to have
won the award, but hoped authorities would do something about
dialysis patients in Fiji.
"I hope that the cost of dialysis
will be subsidised because past
governments had done this."
He explained that although his
mother had died, he would continue to write for the sake of others who had to pay $400 for the
dialysis treatment required three
times weekly.

TWO customers have walked away

Fourty-six staff members of Motibhai Group were recognized
for their dedicated long service in the company during a special
function held at the corporate head-office recently.
While handing over certificates and gift vouchers for their loyal
service to the company, Motibhai Group Chairman and CEO Mr
Kirit Patel thanked everyone for their hard work and contribution
which has enabled the company to prosper for the past 84-years.
Today is a milestone achievement for each of you as we gather
to recognize the services you have accorded to Motibhai Group,
Mr Patel told staff members.
Each one of you have dedicated yourself to your work in such
a way that time seems to have flown and without even realizing,
you find yourself having worked for ten-years and more with
three staff members having finished thirty-five-years of service
this year, Mr Patel added.
Last year we had two staff who had successfully completed
fourty-years of service. That was Mr KS Naicker and Rajendra
(Chunmun).
This goes to show that among the Group we have such sincere,
dedicated and loyal staff and we are ever grateful to have you as
part of our team.
On behalf of all the director and support executives, thanks to
you all for your diligent and full of conscience service, Mr Patel
said.
Out of the recipients, twenty-five staff members had completed
ten-years of service, nine completed fifteen-years, four completed
twenty-years, four completed twenty-five-years, one completed
thirty-years while three completed thirty-five years of loyal service.
