Summary
The assignment was carried out in the context of my diploma thesis of the Electrical Engineering
faculty in Kavala. The issue is Inspection & testing of electrical installation according to ELOTHD384. In the context of my assignment I will present the process of controlling and measuring
electrical installations under standard HD 384 and I will implement them in residential electrical
installation. The enactment of the new standard ELOT HD 384 from 1 March 2006 and the
replacement of until then current Rules Internal Electrical Installations (K.E.H.E.) sets new
standards in the field of Internal Electrical Installation (E.H.E.). By Ministerial Decision Num.
F.7.5/1816/88 ( B 470/5.3.2004) this standard is effective from 1 March 2006. With the new
standard is upgraded radically the process of original and periodic control of E.H.E. , against
associate procedures. On the other side is a fact that up to now the control of E.H.E. was essential
to non-existent, depite the fact that it was required by law. The process of testing or retest of
electrical installation, as it appears from the regulations, ensures not only to the Owners or Users
but also to those who live or work or visit a safe operation and a safe handling.. This assignment
aims to give the necessary instructions needed for the completion of the new RSI through all of the
forms which are required for initial electrification or a rechech.
