Happy New Year!!!

*********************************

Thank You
Decorating the church was deeply
appreciated by all - thank you to John
Nielsen for organizing the Poinsettia
decorating. Also thanks to the scouts and
parents who helped!

Monthly Point Focus

January: Cheerful
A Scout is Cheerful. A Scout looks for the
bright side of life. He cheerfully does tasks
that come his way. He tries to make others
happy. They jump at opportunities, and
their sense of joy makes everything easier
for them and those around them.

Adult Leadership Needed

Troop Christmas Party

We have an active troop for our sons.

These boys are greatly supported by our
active adult committee members and the
activities offered are dependant on that.
There are positions on the committee that
are open NOW. These include:
Committee Chair
Fundraising Chair
Camp Leader
Camping Chaperones
Napowan Leaders

Thank you to all families who brought

food and participated in the Christmas
party and to Jeff Wilkins for getting the
sheet cake. Special thank you for the
Christmas gifts and money given to the
Troop. It will be put to good use!

Please consider which of these most

interest you while the incumbents are still
available to help make a smooth transition.
Contact Mr. Nielsen, Committee Chair,
with questions.

Thank you to the Gregory Family for

finding affordable, good storage
solutions for our Troop Trailer this
winter!

Save the Date

Scout Sunday is coming up on February
7th. Scouts will meet at 8 am in MSMH
and attend and serve at 8:30 am mass.
More information will be coming in
January.

New Rank Requirements

Heads Up! New rank requirements are
being mandated for 2016. Scouts who
finish all rank requirements IN 2016 will
not be subjected to the changes. Keep
this in mind and we will talk more about
it in upcoming meetings.
