This project aims to prove that the application of ultrasonic sensors and
programming of the Arduino ONE Arduino hardware and software in a
vehicle collision can be prevented during operation. The process for carrying out this project consisted of three stages. In the first phase the work item was defined, review and literary conceptualization about the elements of the prototype, both software and hardware, operation, programming and implementation was established, which is the theoretical basis of this project. Secondly it developed a prototype design and construction plan and preliminary tests; Finally, after some testing the prototype model to an actual vehicle using the same programming prototype it was applied. It was concluded from the conceptualization; you can design and develop a prototype model adaptable to a real vehicle. The sensors can be programmed to notify the driver through sound and / or light the proximity of objects, such as sidewalk, curb, post or other vehicle to avoid collision. It is recommended to develop programming Arduino as it is a free and versatile software that can be adapted to real changes prototype models without conflict. The theme of this project is "collision avoidance sensor applied to a land vehicle prototype" which allows compiling received certain theoretical knowledge of subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Introduction to Academic Communication and demonstrate its application to it.
