What the teacher does

What the children do

Getting out from the bus and getting

into the kindergarten (7:30-7:45 am)

The teacher stays in the

corridor waiting for her
students and other teachers
students to get in the middle
of the kindergarten, and if
students are in the middle of
the kindergarten, they
cannot get out of it.

Students get out from their

buses, and then get inside the
kindergarten. Some students play
in the playground area,, chat with
other students, and play with
other students. When it is the time
of assembly, students get rid of
playing and get into lines.

The teacher makes sure

that her students are in a
line and standing in the
correct place. She stays
beside her students until the
assemblys time is finished.
When the assemblys time is
up, teachers walk with their
students to their classrooms.

Students stand in their

classrooms places and get in a
line. They sing the national song,
read morning reminders, and do
exercise. When the assemblys
time is up, students go to their
classrooms with their teachers.

The teacher asks her

students to put their bags in
their closets, hung their
pictures on this wall to tell
that they are present and to
know who is absent (the
ones who do not hang their
pictures, that means that
they are absent), and to sit
in the circle area to begin
the circles time. Choosing

Students put their bags in their

closets, hung their pictures on the
attendances wall, sit in the circles
area, help in changing the date
and counting the numbers of
students who are absent, reading
Quran, responding to teachers
questions, listen to the teacher
while giving a new lesson, and
complete activities.

Playing in the playground area (9:1510;00 am) and then eating breakfast
(10:00-10:30 am)

The teacher takes

students to the playground
area, and then goes to have
their breakfast. When the
playground areas time is up,
all teachers take students to
the food area to have their
breakfast. They sit with
them while they are eating
until they finish, and then
the second circles time
begins.

Students play in the playground

area and chat with each other.
When the time of the playground
area is up, students get back to
their classrooms to have their
breakfast. They wash their hands,
sit in their places, say words
before starting to eat (to thank the
God), eat breakfast, wash their
hands, say words after finishing
eating, and then sit in the circles
area.

allows students to get into
the different areas of the
classroom to play and learn.
During the resting time, the

the classroom. Sometimes
she gets out of the
classroom.

students go to bathrooms and do
what they want to do. Usually at
this exact time, students ask the
teacher about the time that they
get back their homes at.

The teacher has a talk

with students about their
adventures during this time.

that are especially made for
children. Sometimes, she
shows them parts of movies
or documentaries that are
related to the days lesson.

each other about their adventures.
Sometimes, they ask to see
movies, and sometimes they ask to
leave early because of being tired.
