Class of 2020~8th Grade Activities Schedule

The total fee is $35.00. This amount is due no later than Friday, March 11, 2016. No late
payments will be accepted. The fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Eighth grade
students who pay their fees will receive an exclusive Wildcat Class of 2020 T-shirt and invitations to the Royal
Wildcat Ball and much more! All students are strongly encouraged to participate.

May 6, 2016

Royal Wildcat Ball (6:30 p.m.-8:30 pm.)

Semi-formal attire is encouraged. Girls should wear knee to ankle length dresses and/or dress pants or suits.
Boys should wear dress slacks and shirt and/or suit. A tie is preferred. There will be a photographer on site.
Keep in mind that this is NOT a prom. No limousines, tuxedos, formal ball gowns, and/or extravagant attire.
All attire MUST meet the standards of the HCS Dress Code. You must be present the ENTIRE school day to
attend this event. There will be NO early checkouts. (Fee-based activity. Tickets WILL NOT be sold
separately!)

May 13, 2016

Picnic in the Grove (11:45 a.m.-2:00 p.m.)

A catered picnic lunch will be served for the 8th grade students. Students will wear their exclusive Class of 2020
t-shirts. Students are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and sunscreen.

May 19, 2016

Ice Cream Social/Q & A Session (2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.)

Students will enjoy a variety of ice cream while participating in a question and answer session with Locust
Grove High School administrators, counselors, and student council.

May 26, 2016

Wildcat Honors Night (6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.)

LGMS will honor outstanding students for their achievements throughout the year. This is an invitation only
event. Parents and family are invited to attend.

May 27, 2016

Farewell Ceremony (Time and Location: TBA)

This will be a formal event. All males must wear a white, button down shirt with a collar, black slacks, and
dress shoes. The school will provide a Royal Blue necktie. All females should wear a white dress or skirt/pant
suit with dress shoes.
