Subject: Agenda for our 3pm meeting
To: Anne Lee <ALee@calcharters.org>, Michael Trujillo <mhtrujillo@gmail.com>
Anne, Michael, and Fio (Anne please forward),
Looking forward to our meeting this afternoon at 3pm.
Here is a tentative agenda for our meeting. Please come with your thoughts on the
following:
Introductions: There will be four of us so some brief introductions
Overall school priority level: Michael take us through latest version of
overview slides and mention which schools he has and hasn't met with (and
date planned for)
Teachers: Michael to provide overview of what we're doing here (outreach to
teachers, teacher captain development). Mark to provide overview of PD
planning for the summer
Parent letter of support
Anne: Provide update on CCSA online and phone banking efforts. I know
I'm just sending this to you now, but if you can update the attached and
include any relevant stats to track that would be great
Anne: A chance you can have the excel document of parent signatures
to date available for our meeting or EOD? We can review real time and
update slides per next bullet. Also, Michael is putting together in Excel by
Wednesday all the parent signatures we have on our end and it would be
great to cross-reference
Michael: Provide Alliance overview from our slides. Review stats, school
by school plans
Anne and Michael: Go school by school and decide where Anne can
focus efforts vs. Michael
All: Discuss physical mailing of parent letter of support. All are in favor of
this. Potential strategy? Pros and cons? Is it worth the effort?
Debrief from
Silva meeting: Michael to share slides and talk about
parent liaison strategy (school priorities, site-based opportunities, overview of
parent liaison strengths, what to do with new grades, PD scheduling and
training opportunities, parent liaison captain development, parent liaison guide,
timeline)
All: What are other activities (beyond signatures) we can have parents do to
get more involved? Let's develop a list of activities. Possibly test out over the
summer

All: Developing parent captains and parent supporters at schools. Where do

we stand with this and what is our path?
Alumni letter of support: Anne to provide update and strategy and
signature goals over the summer. Mark to talk about internal alumni meeting
scheduled for Tuesday
Parent guide: All discuss next steps
Parent liaison guide:All discuss next steps
Alumni guide:All discuss next steps
Please let me know if there is anything you need from me, anything I'm missing
anything, and if there is anything else you'd like to discuss.
Thanks,
Mark

These recommendations look amazing!
But with scheduling...can we maybe look into next Thursday if it works
with you?
Michael has a super packed schedule with visiting all the schools and
meeting with principals, and I am overloaded right now. Is this okay? Or
maybe Tuesday?
