When listing its corporate values easyJet, which last
year (2012) ew over 59 million passengers, puts safety right at the top. In 2010, following a competitive tender, the airline started using Vistairs market-leading safety management software solution, SafetyNet, in its entire eet. When looking for a new outsourced safety management solution provider easyJet saw that Vistairs SafetyNet would save them a huge amount on manpower resources as well as provide an outstanding safety reporting and auditing capability. That belief was borne out immediately as the airline saw a massive 60 per cent spike in incident reporting within a very short time of SafetyNet being deployed into the eet.
Whats more, not only was easyJet using the software
to great eect, it was also instrumental in helping rene and develop SafetyNet to make it even more eective, leading to the eventual next stage development of the SafetyNet Enterprise software used today by airlines of all sizes around the world. Vistairs partnership with easyJet has gone from strength to strength and, in 2011, an agreement was reached for Vistair to also run the airlines ight operations documents for its entire eet.
