EXT. DARK KELP FOREST-LIKE ENVIRONMENT

The screen starts off black which cross dissolves to show an
aquatic, swaying kelp forest.
NARRATOR
Hey you! Yes, you! You have to
listen to me. There's something out
there.
Bacteria silhouettes can be seen amongst the kelp.
NARRATOR
It's coming. It's coming for all of
us.
A large shadow passes across the screen, as though some
massive creature was swimming above. The smaller bacteria
quickly disperse. A low, bellowing growl echoes in the
distance.
NARRATOR
Please, you're not listening.
FADE TO BLACK.
NARRATOR
The thing. The creature. It's
getting bigger, stronger and
smarter with every minute - and
it's all our fault. We did it.
Don't you see? We did this to
ourselves!

EXT. DARK KELP FOREST-LIKE ENVIRONMENT
A dense kelp forest sways. The camera moves through the
waving fronds. Strange aquatic noises can be heard in the
distance, along with a single menacing bellow.
NARRATOR
We've been so careless...so
short-sighted. You don't know what
I'm talking about?
The kelp becomes thinner, exposing more silhouettes in the
distance.
NARRATOR
I'm talking about the bacteria.

Camera continues to move closer. The bacteria come into

better view, but are still in the distance.
NARRATOR
There are billions inside you at
this very moment, in your
stomach...in your blood...they're
everywhere.
Close to a group of bacteria, we see a small capsule descend
from above.
NARRATOR
Look! Just look at that! This is
what I'm talking about.
The capsule on the sandy floor before releasing an oil-like
sludge. The sludge is the antibiotic, and it slowly spreads
in the fluid the bacteria are swimming in.
NARRATOR
We think we can kill them with our
medicines...
CUT TO:
Can see a large group of bacteria, Some shrivel up and die,
while others swim away.
NARRATOR
...but we're only making them
stronger.
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN
A much smaller group of bacteria can be seen, they are very
spread out.
NARRATOR
There! See? What did I tell you.
They're surviving - adapting to the
poisons we give them.
Camera continues to move closer to the bacteria.
NARRATOR
And with every new attempt we make
on their lives, they grow ever more
resilient - they grow...
DISSOLVE TO

Two bacteria are circling each other, a glowing piece of DNA

between them.
NARRATOR
...and they learn and they share
with each other...
DISSOLVE TO
A bacteria is seen rummaging through some dead bacteria.
NARRATOR
...and scavenge from the dead...
DISSOLVE TO
Screen is black, encompassed by the antibiotic.
NARRATOR
...to evade, fight and shield
themselves from the might of our
medicines.
FADE TO BLACK.
NARRATOR
...And when it comes, when it's too
late, there'll be no stopping it.
While the screen is black, the menacing bellow can be heard
again.

EXT. DARK -LIKE ENVIRONMENTKELP FOREST

Close up of mutated, ugly bacteria ripping apart some kelp

fronds, which turn black.
NARRATOR
I know very well what the others
are saying, that I'm panicking,
that we've still got time.
CUT TO:
Close-ups of various bacteria.
NARRATOR
But I'm telling you, the menace is
real...
FADE TO BLACK.

NARRATOR
...this is no myth, no scary-story;
insuperable bacteria is a leviathan
- it rises.
EXT. DEEP SEA KELP FOREST

Kelp fronds sway slowly, but they are very thinly spaced.
Most of the screen is black/dark blue. As camera moves
through forest, the kelp thins.
NARRATOR
...insuperable bacteria is a
leviathan - it rises.
The kelp is gone, it is just dark, open sea.
NARRATOR
...and for all we know, it's
already here, already inside us. So
listen to me and listen well; heed
the warning. Be afraid...or find
yourself - and every one of us - in
the belly of the beast...
Slowly, a large fanged face of the Leviathan Bacteria can
just barely be seen in the darkness with red glowing eyes. A
deep bellowing growl comes from the creature as it slowly
swims towards the camera. As it approaches, it opens its
wider and 'consumes' the camera.
FADE TO BLACK.

Different from first kelp forest...different angle, more dense or

colour possibly?
Deanna Crisbacher 7 Mar, 2016 22:08

Again, slightly different from the previous kelp forests either by

colour, shape, or density...more greens to signify sickness?
Deanna Crisbacher 7 Mar, 2016 22:34

Perhas this kelp forest is more deep sea inspired...more dark, cold
and scary.
