How to Play?
Role of Bowler
Pitch the ball to the striker. (Set of six balls is called an OVER after which the bowler
changes).
Get the batsmen out. Three simplest ways to get him out (i) Hit the wickets at the
strikers end (ii)Catch the ball hit by the batsmen (striker) directly. (iii) Run out: hit the
wickets before they reach the safe zone when the batsmen are running between the
wickets.
Role of Fielder
Catch the bowl
Stop the bowl from going beyond boundary
Batting teams inning ends once all their batsmen are out or when fixed
number of OVERs have been bowled. Now, both teams reverse their role.
To win, the second team has to score more runs than the first team in
same number of overs.
