Thanks, everythings under control! A drug bust was conducted in Glasgow at 38 Garden Terrace yesterday morning.

Crackdown on drugs continues in Valley County

Valley County Sheriff Glen
Meier told KLTZ/Mix-93 that law
enforcement agencies executed a
search warrant at 38 Garden Terrace
Trailer Court at 10:00 on Tuesday
morning.
The Tri-Agency Drug Task
Force, Valley County Sheriff s
Office, Glasgow Police Department
and the Montana Highway Patrol
were involved in the execution of
the search warrant. As a result of
that search warrant, 42-year old

Joseph Hanville Jones and 36-year

old Jessica Taylor were arrested.
Jones and Taylor were
charged with felony criminal
possession of dangerous drugs
methamphetamine and
misdemeanor
possession
of
dangerous drugs marijuana
and misdemeanor possession of
drug paraphernalia.
Both were incarcerated in the
Valley County Detention Center.
Sheriff Meier said the investigation

continues and further arrests and

charges are possible.
Joseph Hanville Jones has a
criminal history in Valley County. In
2014 he was charged with Partner/
Family Member Assault and was
given a 60 month suspended
sentence with Montana Department
of Corrections. He was also
sentenced to 60 months suspended
in February of this year on the
charge of Criminal Possession of
Dangerous Drugs.

New Region 6 Wildlife Manager...

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks new Region 6

Wildlife Manager, Scott Thompson who was featured
on the front page of Mondays Buzz, actually has ties to
Valley County.

Our news reporter from up north, Darrel Furhman,
informed us that Scott is married to Jill St. John who
grew up near Glentana and graduated from Opheim. So
Jill actually has two great Scotts in her life as she also has
a brother named Scott (St. John).

What do you call a rabbits tail?

An interesting thing that deer and rabbits share is
a special name for their tails. That short, erect tuft of
fur on their backsides is called a scut. This word dates
back at least 400 years, but its one you just dont hear
anymore. What other animals have scuts? Lets see,
goats, moose, bears...

WP Seeking Assistance With

Fish Information Web Portal

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is asking anglers,
and those interested in accessing fish information,
for their assistance in developing a new fisheries
information site. FWP seeks to gather input from
the public to determine what information is most
valuable, usable, and understandable.
The current Fishing Guide and MFISH
applications available on the fwp.mt.gov website are
the primary means FWP uses to provide fish and
angling data for Montana water bodies, accounting
for more than 230,000 page visits per year.
Those interested can provide feedback and
offer suggestions for improving access for fish
information through a survey, by going to fwp.
mt.gov and clicking on the New Fish Portal link
under Whats Trending-Important Dates. The
direct link can be found here: fwp.mt.gov/fishing/
publicComments/fishPortalSurvey.html
Weekly prizes such as a 1-year subscription
to Montana Outdoors or FWP fish t-shirts will
be awarded to survey participants. Following the
conclusion of the survey, priorities identified from
this effort will be used to inform development of the
new application, which may be available in 2017.
The survey will be open from March 1 through
March 31, 2016.
