1. Continuous learning,
and making new discoveries to share. (knowledge is never-ending
and for one to grow, so must their knowledge.) 2. To see each
student as an individual and teach according to their learning style,
using various modalities of instruction. (everyone receives/ retains
information differently and offering numerous ways to teach
enhances the students learning experience.) 3. Conduct myself in a
professional, responsible manner, but never leaving out the magic
and fun of teaching. (Modeling the right attitude and behaviors will
allow myself to be seen as a positive role model, and will also show
students that you can have fun with anything you do.)
1. Nurturing stance when building values
or making corrections, allowing the student to do be their very best
unique self. (Showing compassion towards the differences in others
will allow for trust building, and a sense of security.) 2. Set clear
guidelines, due dates, and what is expected of student. (students do
better and are happier when they know what is expected of them.)
3. Establish and maintain a positive line of communication for both:
parent, student and teacher. (Listening to parents and students will
allow for more perspective in each situation, and will also help to
build a students confidence and relationship with teacher.)
